Dear Peace Awareness Labyrinth and Gardens Visitors,

Last Sunday the volunteer support team that makes Prana available to everyone for spiritual upliftment and fun, met to create ways to make your experience at Peace Awareness Labyrinth & Gardens richer and more meaningful. There are about 30 of us volunteers, including: those who lead tours around the historic mansion and the labyrinth and gardens; seminar leaders who bring us recordings of John-Roger and John Morton; and Sacred Tones facilitators who present a weekly meditation session in which we chant the names of God.

After meeting in our respective groups, we came back together to share what we could bring to you that would be new, fresh, and filled with Spirit. Each person shared the value they personally receive in the giving of their time, energy and loving. How touched they are when they meet folks who want to learn more about spiritual awakening through the various events and offerings at Peace Awareness Labyrinth and Gardens.

Simple things like having enough pens, sign-in sheets, and supplies handy make a big difference to our volunteers so they can serve you seamlessly. More simple things like knowing how to play the little video short of the fun and informative Busby Berkeley era of this property. Did you know that Busby Berkeley, the great Hollywood director and choreographer, lived in this mansion for a number of years in the late 1930’s–early 40’s? Glenn Barnett, historian and experienced docent, gave us a great AV lesson.

What’s amazing about this place and the people who volunteer their time? Well, we couldn’t do it without their devotion, their willingness, their sense of fun and adventure. So what we bring to you is our genuine love of sharing the beauty and peacefulness of this place, some great information about its history and who we are today, our welcoming attitude, and the simplicity of just being who we are.

We hope you will come visit soon. There are so many activities from which to choose:
Sunday Tours and Tea (March 25 we’ll be serving a light lunch)
Once-a-Month Spiritual Spa Days–next one is on Saturday, March 24, with MSIA Minister Tom Boyer, on “Listening, a Doorway to Awakening to Spirit”
Sacred Tones Workshops every Monday night
Recorded seminars with John-Roger and John Morton every Friday night
Spanish seminars and workshops every Wednesday night

Check out the schedule of events at www.peacelabyrinth.org

In loving service,
Carol Jones, Director of Programs
