This article comes from a sharing John had with students in Peace Theological Seminary and College of Philosophy classes in February 2026.

Our key to freedom and liberation on the spiritual level is to bless the negativity, however we can manage that, on an individual basis. It has self-responsibility.  We come into the clearing with whatever the negativity is in the moment.  We go within to the inner consciousness.

The highest consciousness is within, so it’s always a movement to be inner directed into the higher consciousness.  That becomes multidimensional – physical, astral, causal, mental, etheric and spirit.  We are learning the keys all the way into spirit.

The Traveler consciousness is a line.  That makes it clear and simple.  If we are on the Traveler consciousness, particularly what we call initiation, we’re asking to be in direct connection to receive what Spirit can do in the lower, negative realms.  When a soul comes into the physical body, it comes in as a soul initiate. The soul is always initiated to soul.  That is already done.  God does not lose itself.  Not one soul is lost.

What are we doing here?  We’re taking the test.  That’s my version.  I’ll take the test to see if I can pass and go home.  I’m in soul.  I don’t need to be in this psychic-material experience any longer.  It is not needed or necessary.  I am clear and free.

How are you free?  Acceptance is one of the giant keys.  The spirit comes into the flesh with the soul taking a breath in the physical body.  It is individualized and it’s a miracle.  Then comes the test.  Negativity is when we forget or lapse.  It’s like, “I know there is something I am supposed to remember.”  Listen within.

You are good with God.  God loves you as you are, but you may be doing unnecessary things that keep you involved longer than necessary.  This could become extreme, like “How many lifetimes do you want to do this?  You are way past what was necessary.”  For the most part, that is exactly where we are, way past necessary embodiment in the incarnation of the soul.

We’re starting to pick it up.  You can bless what is unnecessary in the world – pain, suffering and disturbance.  You can bless the forest, so it grows, bears fruit, makes oxygen, and does things to the atmosphere so water comes.  That’s the natural order of the world.

We are caretakers.  We come in endowed by our creator as caretakers.  John-Roger spoke about the hierarchy of consciousness.  In that hierarchy on the physical level, humans endowed with soul consciousness have got what it takes. We are ordered to go be good caretakers.

The soul is using the physical embodiment to have the necessary experiences.  What if a soul does or allows unnecessary experience?  We repeat the lesson.  The information keeps coming in some way or another.  You answer at that level until you are resonating with something like, “I’m peaceful and happy.  I am helping and good.”  That’s it.

If you catch it adversely affecting you, such as, “I’m in a bad mood.  I’m mad and discouraged.  I don’t want to live in this world, and I don’t want to have children come in this world.”  Spirit has a plan.  It is going to bring them in.

I consider parenting the most important job on the planet. You may say, “But there are avatars, people functioning at a very high level of consciousness.”  True.  But in terms of what would make the most difference, it’s how we raise children.

I call all children God’s children.  When the soul comes into the body, that’s a child of God.  Raise them properly.  Raise them the way God would raise them.  If God was in your body, what would God do?  I experienced that and thought, “I haven’t found anything like that much pressure, to do the right thing for one child, from now on and for the rest of my life.”

John-Roger was brilliant in this area.  He said if we are really going to do the parent-child relationship right, we become friends.  We are a friend to the child, and the child is a friend to us.  That’s bringing it to a spiritually blessed life.  We are friends.

Spirit has unlimited supply.  We can go forward into manifestation in the world however that works spiritually.  It is not necessarily how we think it would work.  The soul doesn’t care.  It is going to use everything for its upliftment, learning and growth.

The soul comes in and it’s a temporary assignment.  When the soul leaves, it’s better than when it came in.  That is the soul consciousness.  It uses everything.  It could come into the worst and most extreme condition on the planet and benefit.  That’s a powerful consciousness.

In this world, there are still souls wanting to come in.  There is more spirit with every soul that comes.  That is a lot of spirit going on here.  There is an outpouring.  We can choose to line up with spirit.  How would you conduct your life, so you are a happy, healthy and wealthy human being?

Then it can become, “Let me share it.”  You may share it with one person.  You are a good parent or a good friend.  You’re a good friend and a lover.  They go together, like a lover of life.  That is what spirit would do.  Spirit loves life in all its forms in every moment.  Love it all as God loves it all.

Blessing of Alignment Serving the Highest Good

Dear Lord,
We welcome Your presence for all levels of consciousness that is with us.
We do this in the Christ and the Holy Spirit, and also with the Traveler working with us in all the levels.
In this attunement, we also bring forward the highest good of all concerned.
We come into whatever is the adjustment, the correction,
the alignment that is serving this highest good.
We find You make it easy by opening up the opportunities to let go.
All our needs are met.
Just breathe.
The greater opportunities are in blessings.
See the good, look for the good, find the good in people, situations, in whatever are the conditions.
Let us take this opportunity also to envision what You have prepared for greater blessings.
What is, already is in spirit, and in the highest consciousness can be made more manifest.
We come into the openness to embrace all conditions.
In this openness, we also cooperate with all the conditions
with our focus on the highest good, what serves all, blesses all.
And in our vision, we can see restoration.
We can see coming into our togetherness that we can fully embrace,
we can fully touch.
We speak openly in the truth as we know it,
in that heartfelt response that is always with us in caring, loving, and kindness
with the strength to stand in the truth and to live in the truth,
to let go once again.
So we are embraced exactly as we are.
This is the invitation to be who we are
in the truth of who we are and the love of who we are.
