With all the PTS and MSIA volunteers and the NOW Productions crew busily upstairs preparing for the webcast, I made my way downstairs to enjoy myself in the semi-tumult of the registration area. In the back of the lobby at 2101 Wilshire in Santa Monica, another team was setting out table cloths, and making ready for the treats that would follow John Morton’s webcast.
At last Magic Hour arrived, and Leigh Taylor-Young took the stage, to call in the Light. Up on the TV screens was a Moment of Peace featuring John-Roger leading a meditation at the Sphinx in Egypt during one of his visits to the Middle East. Leigh introduced John Morton, Spiritual Director of MSIA, whose first words to us were, “What we need is already prepared. Step into the wisdom. Open to joy.”
Weaving in quotations from the book Path to Mastership by John-Roger, John Morton spoke about the current, abundant access to spiritual wisdom available on the planet, and stated that following Inner Wisdom is easy, and not a struggle. He said that if we are in accord, we are at one with who we truly are. John shared several keys to spiritual wisdom, including the phrase, “Help me understand.”
Then he led us in a meditation for Inner Wisdom, assisting each one of us to tap into the creative imagination. And with the imagination came joyfulness. He answered a few questions from participants on the Internet, one regarding “staying out of trouble,” and the other about “controlling anger.” John’s words were sweet, and to the point.
Following the impeccability of Spirit’s timing, John closed with a blessing (for he IS the Blessings Man), ending with the statement, “We are in paradise.” And his final words were, “Baruch Bashan,” which means The Blessings Already Are.
Leigh Taylor-Young came up once more to remind us of the next webcast with John-Morton on Tuesday, October 18th at 6:30PM pacific time. So mark your calendar now!
John and Leigh then came downstairs to mingle with the participants, and to snack on the wonderful array of goodies offered. Much joyful wisdom was shared by all.
