Handle Your Karma, Don’t Dump It

Article imageI’d rather you hit me physically than hit me with the karma that you release that you won’t handle. People that I work closely with know that I pick up a lot of things, and maybe 90 percent of them I can deal with spiritually. The rest has to walk around with me because I’m here doing this seminar. I’m the target of your attention. Where you focus your attention, your beingness is going to generate, and when your beingness comes back off again, I’m going to keep holding the karma that you produced and gave out to me.

If you would do spiritual exercises, if you would meditate, if you would contemplate, if you would pray, you could have handled all of that and not dumped anything on me.

I could sit here and say, “It’s very strange. I come to you loving, and you come to me in loving — and you dump on me. Why don’t you come to me in loving and have it clean and clear and let me walk out the same way? Is that unreasonable?”

You might say, “Well, but J-R, you’re this and you’re that, and you do this and…”
So what? Just because you’re good at a computer and a word processor, does that mean you get everything dumped on you all day long?
You say, “No.”
Well, it means the same thing for me.
