Back in 1974 when my father-in-law had a very serious industrial accident, I went out to the hospital lobby and used a payphone to call a Minnesota minister. I said, ”Please tell all the local ministers to send the Light to my father-in-law.” The next day, his condition had turned completely around. About a month later, John-Roger was in Minneapolis conducting a seminar. I went to the back of the room and saw him sitting at a table. I told him “Thank you” for helping us with my father-in-law‘s recovery. J-R said to me,” When you’re at your worst, I’m at my best.”
Fast forward 51 years later to 2025. I was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer. It was rated an eight out of 10 in severity. My daughter Elsie submitted a request on the HeartReach bulletin for people to send me the Light and visualize me with radiant health again. She asked for both emails and cards of support to be sent to my way. I started getting emails immediately. Then the cards started coming in the mail.
When I was a little over half done with my 41 treatments, Elsie submitted an updated request in the HeartReach bulletin for more love and support to get me through the homestretch. Once again, the emails and cards started coming. When everything was said and done, I had received about 20 emails, several from outside of the United States, and about 20 cards in the mail. Some from lifelong MSIA friends, and some from absolute strangers, who were all sharing their loving hearts and support with me.
This was just one of so many blessings that came to me during my radiation treatments.
Once again, when I was at my worst, my MSIA community was at its best.
Oh how lucky and blessed I am to be part of this wonderful family.
