On Sunday, November 16th, 2025, a group of Boston-area MSIA students gathered in the warm and welcoming Watertown home of Jay and Monica Winston for a beautiful John-Roger seminar. It was a truly heart-opening afternoon of Light, sharing, and fellowship.
Our group included Mike Connor, Scott Garber, Margarite Garbre, Andrew Moritz, Jay Winston, Jason Courtemanche, Monica Winston, Joanie Kurkian, Maria Connor, Iliana Flohr, and Pamela Geib, who joined us earlier in the day but needed to leave before the photo was taken. Each participant brought their own sincerity and presence, creating a deeply uplifting atmosphere.
Following the seminar, we enjoyed a generous potluck meal — complete with turkey, salads, and an array of delicious dishes. And of course, Monica treated us to her famously good gluten-free apple pie and chocolate cookies. Yum! Her baking has become a beloved highlight of our Boston gatherings.
A good time was had by all, and there was a shared sense of excitement about the upcoming Insight I on Cape Cod. We hope to do this again soon — so stay tuned for the next gathering!
Margarite Garbre

Thank you Margarite for the warm article and the photo where I found the twin brother of Edward Courtemanche who was a buddy in the Royal Road at Asilomar.
