I was in London in September 2025 when John Morton first mentioned the possibility of creating a Ministers only Insight 1. The fact that he was planting that seed in the presence of Ruth Rochelle and Carrie Flack made it sprout roots there and then.
Fast forward just 4 months and I’m on the ferry with Joyce Jenkin heading for Carrie & Simon’s beautiful home on the Isle of Wight, UK, where we’ll be meeting up with 17 other ministers to see what Spirit has been prepping for us.
My last journey to the island had been in 2001 when I and a bunch of others immersed ourselves into Year 1 of the MSS. I loved getting on the ferry each month and spending the weekend far away from the noise and bustle of ‘mainland.’ It was easy to relax into the energy of the class in that sanctuary.
So now it’s January 2026, I’m back on the boat and the ministerial call is dancing in my heart as we make our way across the sea. The energy started building weeks ago and reasons for my not being there were simply dissolving as they came up.
‘Insight With Ministers. On the island. Wow.’ To clarify, I already love Insight. My first was a John-Roger, Russell Bishop & John Morton intensive in London. I assisted on the team when Mary Ann Sommerville was in town. Each one I’ve experienced I’ve been amazed by what it brings to the world.
This time, the intention emerging within me was the Stillness Of The Christ. But as we travelled across the water and hit a little turbulence I started to sense that the island as the sanctuary that I remembered – was now a boat. We were crossing choppy seas to alight on a boat of disciples and the stillness of the Christ was moving across the waters to join us.
It now made sense why, as I was packing my suitcase, I had stopped to create a few bookmarks out of leftover Christmas cards. (What?) I got a hit to make them. They were based on the wise men responding to an inner calling, responding to a sensing of Christ’s presence and of wanting to share gifts. And that theme spoke to me all weekend.
This is one of the bookmarks Lily Collette made, mentioned above
Other travellers responding to the call were from Germany, France, USA, rep Sweden, rep Argentina, Lebanon, and the UK’ers. Ruth Rochelle and her team (Carrie & Simon Flack and Karen Espinosa) created an extraordinary weekend for us. (We missed you Ginny!) We were so warmly invited, guided, loved and so well cared for. Ruth’s experience as a seminar leader lovingly held our boat steady. The food that Simon & Carrie prepared was ministerial. We banqueted at least twice a day. When one dish was running low another appeared as if by magic. The way they rearranged their home to cater for us was ministerial. We were hungry to explore a sort of Insight initiation! We were hungry to support each other. We were hungry to play. Those I’d not met before are now in my heart as family.
Having wonderful meals together
Spirit kept going and on Sunday I was given the analogy of Christ calling to Simon to walk on the water. When Simon doubts he can do it, when he falters, he goes under the water. I heard Christ say, “I never let go.” And I saw an image of me submerged under the water with His hand holding onto me. I got that I had been, in a sense, ‘under the water’ for many lifetimes but all the while He’d been holding me. It was then as if I was pulled up out of the dark waters and, gasping for air, pulled up into the Light. Oh Joy! Oh God!
In case that wasn’t enough, later that day we had Traveller John Morton sharing with us which was a blessed way to complete the seminar. There was just time for one more banquet before saying goodbye!
Over that weekend we shared a gift of Light for the planet and for humanity. There are aspects of the gift that I also received that I am still opening and I feel sure that will be true for each one of us.
May the Force Bless This Ministerial Ship!
May We Always Be Guided in Leading From The Heart.
And MAY is the month! There is a Minister’s Insight 1 online in May, click here for more info.
See you there.
With Love & Appreciation for The AMAZING group of disciples who ventured out onto those waters with me.
Be Still,
Be Love,
Lily Colette

Love and light Nathalie
Thanks. I could’ve said so much more really, Nathalie.
I’ve noticed such a shift in my ministry. It feels like the whole group has been blessed in a way that just keeps unfolding. Amazing.
Thanks. I could’ve shared more, Nathalie.
My ministry feels like it got blessed. And like the group ministry got blessed. The energy on this Insight is amazing.
Thank you, Lily, your beautiful rendition of our weekend brought me back into the seminar room and literally lifted me once more. The imagery you used captures the sentiment perfectly and somehow deepens it for me. Thank you and all the beautiful souls that served to enable us to have this extraordinary experience.
