One night while asleep I opened my eyes to realize that even at 5 years of age I was near to finding my treasure. I didn’t know it was so close and that I could touch it.
I was not alone, there were some tiny creatures dancing around my room, they were like Light fireflies. I did not know what to say or do, but these little creatures whispered in my ear “Love yourself, don’t deny yourself, wake up because you have a lot to give to the universe. You are a treasure to humanity. Be present, don’t hide anymore.”
My heart was thrilled in hearing this. Words of love. And even though I was little, the world was waiting for me to open my heart, my treasure, so that the Light could shine in all of Its splendor.
I closed my eyes, put my hands on my heart, and went to sleep knowing that the lesson for me is to love myself and to share that love with the universe.

Hola Esperanza. I hope you see this. We met in 1990 when I was traveling solo in Spain. We had I think it was a dinner with Yulay. You translated for us. I had been given her name from Rinaldo Porcile as someone in MSIA in Madrid I could maybe get together with who spoke English. Not quite. But you and I met, and you invited me to stay at your apartment when I returned from my travels in southern Spain. You had a small studio apartment but let me sleep there before I left for home the next day. Your kindness and openness and loving in that gesture has stayed with me all these years.
