Healing & Attuning through Spirit: On the Internet with John Morton

(Part III of the Webcast Series – Spiritual Principles of Health and Well-Being)

We began the third part of our series on the Spiritual Principles of Health and Well-Being with our beloved Leigh Taylor-Young welcoming us and reminding us of all we are learning from this new book by John-Roger with Paul Kaye.  The first part of our webcast series focused on the “Principles.”  The second part focused on the “Causes and Cures.”  Our third part focused on the “Stages of Healing.”  What a beautiful experience of learning, loving, healing and sharing for all of us around the world!

From throughout the United States and several countries around the world, we called forward the Light of God and then chanted in unison and harmony the names of God. Leigh explained how when we chant Ani Hu, we are saying an ancient name for God and bringing forth the quality of empathy.  As we chanted along with Leigh, we allowed ourselves to experience the eternal loving within which is the supreme loving that connects us wherever we are.

We were treated to a lovely Moment of Peace where John-Roger, the founder of MSIA, talked to us about our oneness with God.  John-Roger reminded us to be loving to ourselves and all that we are doing.  Leigh reminded us of the three principles of MSIA, which John-Roger provided for us: 1) Out of God come all things, 2) God loves all of Its creation,  and 3) Not one Soul will be lost.

Leigh then introduced the Spiritual Director of MSIA, John Morton, who travels around the world presenting workshops and seminars on practical spirituality.  John, along with Paul Kaye, recently visited cities in the United States as well as in Australia where they conducted local workshops based on the Spiritual Principles of Health and Well-Being.

John began his time with us by engaging in a personal, heartfelt dyad process with Leigh where he took us through the “Stages of Healing” for a challenge he had been experiencing.  As Leigh guided John through the process presented in the book, John let us know his new insights,  awarenesses and revelations about his greater healing.  John talked about his intuitive knowing for his greater health and well-being and the value of acceptance and letting go of ideas that things should be different than they are.

John reminded us that we can do any of the processes presented in the book either with a partner, as he did with Leigh, or by ourselves through writing or journaling.  John then offered to move through a dyad process with a volunteer from the audience.  We followed along with the participant as John guided her through the Stages of Healing into her greater awareness.   At the conclusion of that gentle, enlightening process, the participant shared gratefully, “I feel so blessed!”

From the Internet, questions were submitted about clarifying intentions for greater health and well-being and how to overcome significant health challenges.  John reminded us to state clearly our intentions for greater health and then bring forward our willingness to do our part to cooperate.  John encouraged us to let go of whatever is no longer working for us and be practical about our health and self-care, which can be as simple as getting enough sleep and rest.

John reminded us that we have access to the divine knowledge that is within us all.  John encouraged us to check inside ourselves first and become more aware of that divine presence within us as the way to find our answers and direction.  Everything we experience has value, so ask for the divine guidance to increase awareness of what is best for our own personal greater health and well-being.

John then led us in a profoundly beautiful Healing Attunement and Meditation. In this meditation, John encouraged us to see the Light in others’ eyes and bring forward the loving which is the love of God and all of Its creation.  As we breathe in love, Light and sound, we are demonstrating our willingness to be the love and to be the Light.  John talked about healing as returning to the perfection that is the Divine and how the Soul, who we truly are, is eternal while our bodies and our challenges in this world are temporary.  Our true nature is our spiritual nature, which is always healthy, joyful and loving.

John then reminded us that worship is in the Spirit, not in our bodies or a specific place in this world.  In the Spirit, there is no worry, fear or doubt.  So turn to the Spirit for that loving, healing guidance and to know more fully our true nature as a Soul who is one with God.  John concluded by encouraging us to choose to be in our own divine nature, which is a loving, healing nature, as we make our way in this world.

We closed our time together by watching another delightful Moment of Peace with John-Roger, a celebration of his birthday some years ago where John-Roger made a precious and generous wish for greater health for us all.  Leigh then thanked John Morton and all of us for participating and for MSIA for generously sponsoring the webcast.

The next webcast with John Morton will be held on Easter Eve, Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 3:00 pm PDT.  Please join us!
