Following a 7-year absence from the annual Living in Grace retreat, I was very blessed with the chance to attend PAT 8 – Passage Into Spirit, offered at Asilomar Conference Grounds for the very first time in December. Not knowing what to expect with the new format, I chose to let go of all my expectations and memories of how things “used to be” and remain open to Spirit bringing forward whatever would be for my highest good.

From the start, and even for days before the training began, my experience of the retreat was absolutely magical. Based on what others shared, I was not alone in this. The Traveler’s hand was quite evident in the stories about how people heard and answered the call to be at Asilomar that week…many at the very last minute!

Adeptly facilitated by the amazing duo of Candace Semigran and Leigh Taylor-Young Morton (supported by Vincent DuPont, who had led the first PAT 8 in France last fall, as their Angel), the training itself was simply incredible. Passage Into Spirit had been described as the next step after Living of Grace. We all experienced the profound blessings of choosing to resurrect into the Christ at every moment and claim our divinity.

In the end, it was unanimously agreed that the process questions, although new and different than in the past, simply didn’t matter. Just as our answers didn’t really matter, or any changes in the format. All that mattered was that each one of us—whether a long-time Asilomar veteran or a first-timer—showed up and put ourselves in the line of this sacred energy. There was no difference in the powerful movement of karma clearing. There was no difference in the exalted peace and joy of the Christ, Traveler and Holy Spirit filling our souls more and more as the week progressed.

We could hardly believe how generous John Morton was with his time, sometimes sharing with the group twice in one day. And if any of us had had any doubts about the availability of our beloved John-Roger in Spirit since his transition, they were very quickly dispelled. In fact, from my perspective, J-R’s energy and loving were just as much or even more immediately present than ever before, God bless his soul.

And I loved the training. I loved the newness of this retreat, and I would be there no matter what event is taking place, whether it is called Living in Grace, Passage Into Spirit or something else entirely. There is nowhere else for me to be.”
