There’s something wonderful that takes place when bearers of Light and seekers of Light gather together. It’s like sparkles in the air, or a sense of impending laughter — that moment just before a smile breaks out all over the room. And so it was on Saturday, July 14th at part two of “The Power Within You” webclass with John Morton.
Richard Powell was our MC, and brought us all together by calling in the Light, invoking that sweetness we recognize as the Spirit. He introduced Tamsin Rothschild, Milo Page and Ron Beimel, who gave us poetry and music, “Magic Happens,” a lovely creation about faith in the Spirit.
There was a Moment of Peace video featuring some funny moments with John-Roger as he described walking through karma. And Jsu Garcia spoke about the film Spiritual Warriors, alerting everyone to upcoming screenings in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and London.
When John Morton was introduced, he shared that there were people tuned in via the Internet from Europe, the United Kingdom, all over the United States, and for the first time, Mauritania. But the subject for the day, from the book The Power Within You by John-Roger, was SUCCESS, an acronym for Sincerity, Understanding, Courage, Charity, Enthusiasm (God’s energy), Stability, Satisfaction.
John talked about completions, and how completing in our lives can improve things — physically, emotionally, and mentally. He also touched on starting things with the intention to finish them, and being watchful about commitments in this world.
We found partners and went through a partner exercise about incompletions and action steps to complete things. This was followed by a John-Roger video on Authentic Empowerment.
John brought a peaceful quiet into the room, with beautiful meditation and blessing for all. After a brief Question and Answer session, John went on to describe the process of programming the Universal Mind, using detailed visualization to bring forward those things we want. Then it was time for more Q and A, both from those on hand and folks on the Internet.
What is always surprising, and yet so natural, is the easy and gentle way that John sums up each question, and takes it to its essential point — and then shines his generous Light on the simplest form of answers: It all comes down to Loving. I just love these PTS Web classes.
