There are few pleasures as fulfilling as hanging out with long-time friends, sharing the loving, listening to favorite songs, and being in the Traveler’s energy. The smiling faces gathered Tuesday night, October 21st, were turned toward the evening’s webcast theme, Timeless Wisdoms, a book by John-Roger, DSS, founder of the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness (MSIA).

Leigh Taylor-Young, more beautiful than ever, called us forward into the Light in an exquisite moment of prayer. Then the webcast began, going out to most of the United States as well as many other countries. Leigh began with a short explanation of the MSIA and its teachings of Soul Transcendence. She described to those on the Internet how to participate in the Questions and Answer portion of the evening, and introduced John Morton, DSS, Spiritual Director of MSIA.

Leigh opened the interview portion of the evening by stating three foundational teachings of MSIA:
1) Out of God come all things
2) God loves all of its creation
3) Not one Soul will be lost
.
John and Leigh spoke back and forth, and Leigh interjected readings from the book Timeless Wisdoms. And then Leigh and John alternated in reading some letters from Leigh’s family archives, dating back to the Great Depression of the 1930’s. Much of what was written detailed some of the difficult circumstances that were faced by many families at that time. John remarked that we are in similarly challenging times, and reminded us that caring and reaching out are needed.

John talked about the generation that went through the Depression, and affirmed that there is an abundance of everything, and we can take care of each other. He and Leigh discussed the value of the experiences that seem challenging, and John encouraged us all to “Give until it helps.”

In the Q & A session, someone from Hawaii asked how to overcome resistance. John recommended acceptance (the first law of Spirit) of the resistance, and discipline in holding focus. In a golden moment, John said, “The last frontier is inside.”

In response to Leigh’s question about God’s big hand and global communion, John stated that we are all here to grow, and to love one another.

In answer to a question about negative images, John reminded the person that we are never given anything we cannot handle, and if we give God all of our attention, in total resolve, then we become the Beloved.

An Internet participant asked, “How can I overcome my consciousness of Lack?” John suggested that the person go beyond it, and shift focus to what is in their life that is appreciated, and for which they could be grateful.

After further readings from the Timeless Wisdoms book, and a few more questions, to which John responded in love and joy, John ended the evening with a blessing for all, stating that there is “No challenge that cannot be overcome.”

He closed with the words, “Baruch Bashan,” which means the Blessings Already Are.
