MSIA travel staff were recently in Australia, providing MSIA Services (Innerphasings, Polarity Balances & Aura Balances) as well as MSIA events. Staff member, Angel Gibson, provides this update from the trip:
DAY 12 — SYDNEY
Cleora and I wake up very early this morning, excited for the day to begin, and to get a table at our breakfast spot, Indigo. Not too far behind us come Ezra, then Leigh and John as we fortify ourselves with some food. Then we’re ready to go with ordinations and the Ministers and Initiates seminar. Anita Maria is our MC today and she deftly leads us through the morning welcoming all who have come for this and all the events over the last few days. Vincent takes the stage to give a presidential update and to present the service awards and guide us through a beautiful seeding meditation. Then Bob Zapf, Marie Lennox and Lily Cubrillo get us rocking with their version of Rocking us in the Bosom of Abraham, or something like that–very gospel music-like. Julie Chenery and the Aussie MSIA Choir next do a touching version of an Alleluia. We are ready and again John joins us for another special sharing with ministers and initiates, even taking a little extra time for questions and answers. Wow, what a Conference this has been!
As John and Leigh depart the room to prepare for their flight to New Zealand, we do our best to get grounded, eat some lunch and begin a few more Services as Vincent and a wonderful crew of volunteers start to pack up the equipment. By the end of the afternoon we staff and Chris Haupt head to a nearby restaurant for a little unplugging and food. We are so grateful to all the beautiful and fun assistance we’ve been given all along the way here in Sydney. Our special thanks to Jen Jacobs, the New South Wales MSIA Rep. She so excellently coordinated myriads of details and logistics with seamless and endless grace. Thanks to each and every volunteer from those who helped with registration to products to set up and pack up of the audio/video, to Services and everything in between. Our trip has been lovely and smooth.
DAY 13 — SYDNEY
Today we’re all doing Services. Cleora, Chris and I go to Julie Chenery’s and Lesley and Vincent work at the hotel. It’s only a half day and we have a special treat awaiting us. John Hayson has offered to take us sailing around the Sydney Harbor in his boat. Before I join up with the sailors, Julie Chenery and I go to the Rocks for a little shopping. Then we are met at Pier 1 by our boaters who have sailed for almost an hour already. What fun to climb aboard on this gorgeous day and continue down to Darling Harbor, seeing the old masted ship, Endeavor. Then we turn around and head to Mosman Bay passing by under the Darling Harbor Bridge, by the Opera House, catching a glimpse of the ocean. Along the way we bounce over waves and are good and drenched, but it’s all fun as we dry off in the still warm sun. As the afternoon wanes we cruise into dock, all happy sailors. With grateful hugs we bid goodbye to John and head off for a little dinner, and then to pack. What a wonderful trip this has been. Tomorrow is an early start for a very long day that culminates in our flight back to the states.
DAY 14 — LAST DAY IN SYDNEY
Vincent, Lesley, Chris and I are up early today to get in some hiking at Bondi Beach. All these years I’ve been coming to Sydney I’ve never hiked at Bondi. It’s Beeauuutiful. Surfers are already out waiting for waves, the sun is warm the breeze cool. We hike along the cliffs where the sandstone has been etched over eons into the most haunting sculptures. We can’t resist jumping down closer to the water and climbing along the rocks there. All too soon we have to head back to our hotel to gather our luggage and head for the airport after a quick breakfast…you guessed it…at Indigo. Now the servers have gotten to know us and bid us sad farewells…perhaps to see us again next year. One never knows! Cleora was hit by a stomach bug last night and is a bit tender this morning but on the mend. One of the adventures that goes with our travels on the road. As I look over to her in our waiting lounge here at the airport, she’s looking much better happily watching Dr. Phil! Vincent and I are doing some final email and Lesley is immersed in her novel. So much has taken place for each of us along the way. We’re grateful we get to share in the learnings and growings with the Traveler and all who are participating. Thanks for your Light and loving along the way and to all here downunder who participated in caring right along with us. Bless us each and everyone.
‘Til the next trip,
Angel
