When ask to write something, my Karma of putting the written word out wanted to decline the request, however this morning here I am stepping up to the bat …

The setting was a perfect reminder of the “Earlier Days” of MSIA — a reminder of the hippie days. A truly wonderful evening taking us old-timers back to the earlier days of being with J-R: the Traveler and the Preceptor taking us forward and into and toward God’s Heart.

The blessings of J-R were plentiful, filling our hearts in preparation for Thanksgiving. My heart and beingness was filled with gratitude for my presence at this time on the Planet Earth.

For me, so much was my inner process. It seemed that the negativity of the world was replaced with darshan from J-R, and replaced with thanksgiving and gratefulness.

Paul Kaye brought us an experience of the book: “Serving and Giving: Gateways to Higher Consciousness” — the book we were there to celebrate coauthored by Dr. John-Roger and Dr. Paul Kaye. This was a brief experience but solidified for me that yes, I do serve and yes, I do give from my heart. And also a reminder that I have miles to go before I can come close to the example that has been set for us all by J-R. Thanks to Paul Kaye my very favorite Englishman.

Jsu, even though I didn’t have my hand up to ask a question — yes I was talking inwardly to you when you called on me. I am and was proud of you and you brought your big Spirit and your inner jester forward to serve as a side kick for J-R. (My memory is that from the earlier days he has always had a side kick that brought these traits forward.)

Thank you Jsu — yep, I had a dream with you and J-R after the book signing. My love to you always as you serve the Traveler with such dedication. Also finally you brought your sister and nephew to the event. Thanks; I had thought you were your Mother’s only child.

The Mystic Journey Bookstore is truly mystical, it was my first opportunity to visit the store, but will return at another time to take in the mystical setting and browse the shelves.

Thanks Zoe and Angel and to all for allowing me, to be up close and fill my beingness with the blessings.

And From Betsy Alexander …

Whenever I’m with J-R physically, there’s nowhere else in the world I want to be. It was like that at the booksigning at the Mystic Journey bookstore. I didn’t care what he said—though I learned, laughed, and was moved by his words—just that I could be with him.
I saw J-R sing along to “Down to the River to Pray” and suggest that the song was worth listening to, chuckle when we laughed at something he said, as if he hadn’t realized it was funny, be hugged by two kids who were sitting nearby, one of whom was gently patting him, look at people who came up to him with total love in his eyes. I heard him say toward the beginning of the evening that “the God of love is entirely present,” and for me that described what was happening at that moment and throughout the evening. It’s the greatest blessing in my life to know someone who knows that and transmits that and who also does that in my heart even when I’m not around him physically.
