An Update from John and Leigh in Portugal

From Leigh Taylor-Young:

Vincent took John and I to this place that is the western most point of Portugal on the Atlantic Ocean to view the Sunset.

It was raw and magnificent, and gathers people in a Silence at the moment of the sunset. It felt like a sacred sharing amongst strangers who come together from all over the world to share one God moment of nature.

While there, a girl came up to John and said ‘I am from Bulgaria and I took Insight 4 and you came. Thank you.” They had a beautiful hug and we shared we were coming again in July of 2017 and that we loved Bulgaria. Vincent shared he was shortly on his way to Sofia, Bulgaria for MSIA work.

So there we go … God’s ways at play. I just love God’s wink.

From John Morton:

Cabo da Roca is on a sheer bluff about 140 meters above the westernmost point of land on the European continent. There is a beautiful lighthouse nearby and we had a mission to be there by sunset after a very long day in a series of long days while planning for the Way of the Traveler Tour of Iberia about a year from now. We started the day in the Tomar, the city of the Knights Templar, founded by the Grandmaster of the Order in 1160, where we visited a magnificently well preserved castle and former convent. We then visited Fatima, a place that is comparable to St. Peters in Rome on the scale of size of the grounds and amount of visitors in homage to “Our Lady” who appeared in 1917 first to 3 children who were out in a field shepherding. During 2017 a centennial celebration is planned. We then visited Sintra which is a World Heritage site, nearby Cascais resort town, and then just made it to Cabo da Roca in time to capture this moment as the sun was about to set for the day.

We have a great John-Roger Legacy Fundraiser Tour planned for 2017 following upon an really wonderful Way of the Traveler Tour in Spain and a PAT 8 Passage into Spirit in Santiago de Compostela.
