On the Road Reporting from the MSIA Staff Trip to Europe — Days 4 & 5

Article imageMSIA travel staff are currently in Europe, providing MSIA Services (Innerphasings, Polarity Balances & Aura Balances) as well as MSIA events in various locations. Staff member, Angel Gibson, provides this update:

DAY 4 – LONDON

Today goes by so quickly. Celia and I do a full day of Services with Lesley sitting in. How sweet it is to be with each person! We each decide to have a quieter night. Spontaneously Nathalie, Celia and I go for a little walk over to see the Mayfair Conference Center where all the London events with the Traveler will be next week. It’s locked up and the guard just lets us peer in. Looks nice from outside and we scope out where the van with the equipment will need to go to unload. Walking home, Nathalie suggests a little tea at the Selfridge hotel. This turns out to be a lovely idea, so we walk a little bit more and visit the Selfridge which is an older hotel with dark woods, deep sofas, and velveteen style curtains. Coffee, tea and a sweet makes for a perfect dinner. The sudden burst of sound from an errant fire alarm makes us laugh and reminds us to place Light. All is safe and sound and we finish our coffees and head home to pack as tomorrow we leave for Madrid.

DAY 5 — TO MADRID

I’m up early today to get in a run and visit the Mayfair Centre before we’re driven to the airport. The Mayfair Conference Centre’s representative gives me a thorough tour of the rooms we will be using. They seem very nice, some with nice architecture and with indoor/outdoor greenery too. I ask for some Light columns to be placed here as part of the preparation. Then I meet up with Celia and our luggage and Jane Bedford who graciously has come again to return us to the airport. This time we squeeze all our luggage and Celia, me and Jane into her car. A very snug but pleasant ride. At Heathrow airport we rendezvous with Lesley Freeman who’s coming with us to Madrid to sit in with Services there. Who should also join up with us for a fun catch-up lunch? None other than Lord Tithington, Paul Kaye. We laugh and have a delightful time hearing stories about his visit in Sweden — he looks great so we gather that the Lindhes and Sweden gave Paul the spiritual spa treatment and some salmon and herring to boot.

It seemed like we barely had time to start spiritual exercises before we were setting down in Madrid and being warmly embraced by our MSIA Madrid family representatives — Esperanza Aguilar, Arturo Becceril Navarro, Arcelia and Mario. They took us and all our luggage expertly to the cars and van and whisked us to our hotel near downtown Madrid. Our rooms are a treat and we have just enough time to set up for doing initiations. Once initiations are done an adventurous group of us head for the Plaza Mayor — a huge plaza surrounded by colorful buildings and cafes. We have teas and juices and then head to the oldest restaurant in the world — I kid you not — this is in the Guinness book of records. Nicknamed Botin’s, this restaurant was founded in 1725. Our table was downstairs which we accessed by ducking our heads and winding down an old wooden staircase. We ate our fill of olive oil and great tasting crispy hard rolls, peppers and anchovies, eggplant fritters, grilled veal, and more. And the espresso I had, yum. We were serenaded and sang along the best we could. What fun to ask for the Light and bless the food and each other in fellowship! We even had a miracle as Arturo lost his wallet. We sent Light ahead and he found it on the ground sitting right next to his car — it had been there all evening and all credit cards and monies were intact. Thank you, Light.

Tomorrow we’re joined by John Morton and Vincent Dupont and it’s more fun and blessings. Thanks for you continuous Light as we travel along with the Traveler!
