The Door and the Way

Article imageSomeone once asked me the difference between the Soul and the Christ. The Soul is an individualized form of God, entirely of the spiritual dimension, and it can also take a psychic-material form, whereby Spirit takes on a physical body. There’s a crossover, like Alice going through the Looking Glass. In other words, there’s another world, and that world is easy to forget. In fact, part of what happens is that you forget where you came from (Spirit), and then you may look around, wonder where the entry was, and feel really lost, not knowing where you are and wanting to get out but not knowing how to. That’s the veil, the translation. The Christ stands in as the door, and whoever asks, whoever seeks, cannot be denied.

That is the key: to ask, to seek the kingdom. Part of it would be to know, “I come from somewhere and this isn’t it.” The “stupidity” may say, “This is my place. I love it here, and I’m going to stay here forever. That’s my goal: immortality.”

I say, “Well, you’re ‘stupid’ because that’s not the reality of who you are. You’re not going to do that. You’re off. You’re not meant to stay here forever. This is a temporal existence.”

There is a lost aspect, so the Christ becomes the entry. The Christ is known as the door, or the gate, and stands in. You may think that sounds like the Traveler, which stands in between the negative world and the spiritual world. Yes. One is like the door, and one is the way that goes to God.

How does that translate? It’s still the way even in the psychic-material, and it comes as an energy field, if you want to look at it like that, like a path. There’s the path, the way, and the Christ stands as that one who tells us, “Here’s how to get on the path. Right here. Come here. Follow this, and you’ll be on the way. I am the Light. I am the truth. I am the way.”

The Traveler is an extension, if you will. It may sound like the same thing, and it’s really not important to distinguish. When you understand, then you realize the Christ is the Light of the world. So it has an application as the logos of this planet. But what about the worlds to come? That becomes the Traveler, which is the wayshower, the all in the all, that which is required to reconnect, to realize our true self. That realization is when you say, “I am a Soul and not really this body. I’m in the body, but I’m not the body.” So you start discerning that “I’m first of the Spirit.” That is a Christ realization. There’s no separation in it, so if someone says they don’t know the difference that’s okay. It’s not something to worry about. In fact, there’s no need to find a difference because then you’re looking for separation. I wouldn’t do that. When you get it, you get it. You’ll see that, functionally, there’s a difference, a stepping down, so that the Christ is holding for the entire world, holding the door open. And in a way, it’s stuck there.

You may think that’s a strange way to relate to the Christ, as stuck, and I say that someone has to take that position to hold the door open, to hold the Light, and to allow that Light to go to all consciousnesses as soon as they ask for it.

Then it’s like, “Now I’m at the door. How’d I get here?” You woke up. You’ve always been at the door. When you turned away, you didn’t see it, but you never really went anywhere. It was always at hand. The kingdom is at hand. So, that’s part of the great message of the Christ: “Hey, silly, you don’t have to go anywhere. It’s here.”

You may say, “It wasn’t here until you were here,” and the Christ says, “I’ve always been here. I’ve been in your heart. I’ve been in your consciousness, so the physical appearance is less than the one that’s inside. The kingdom is inside. The Master is inside.”

When you see an emissary of the Soul and you say, “I don’t know their name,” or “I don’t know where they’re from; I just know they’re a good guy, or a good gal,” that’s right. That’s what is important to know. It’s not so much, “Who are you? What are you?” They don’t necessarily tell you that, but usually it’s in a state so you just know it. You may not know how you knew; you just knew, or you just heard them. You may hear them say their name or just realize who they are in a way that is clear for you.

The important thing is your inner knowing of the presence of Spirit, the presence of the emissaries of the Soul, the presence of the Traveler as a wayshower of the Soul, the presence of the Christ as a way that is the Light in this world and the door into the Soul. They always come in on the loving that is always the way, so look for the loving, and you’ll find the way to the joy and peace that is God.
