Gators, Oranges and a Traveler Too — On the Road with Angel Gibson in Florida

Article image MSIA travel staff are currently in Florida, providing MSIA Services (Innerphasings, Polarity Balances & Aura Balances) as well as MSIA events in Jacksonville and Miami. Staff member, Angel Gibson, provides this update from the trip:

Day 1 — Jacksonville

Well, it’s a new year and Vincent Dupont and I are off and flying to Jacksonville to start the Florida MSIA trip. Roger Wakefield pulled the lucky straw and gets to pick me up at 5:30am in his big car that is packed to the hilt with the audio/video equipment Vincent and I will bring with us. Vincent and I move into an easy harmony as we check-in. An enterprising luggage man whisks us through check-in and in minutes we’re on our way through security, then to Starbucks, and settle down in the airport lounge to wait for boarding. This time we’re blessed to be upgraded all the way to Jacksonville–oh I do love those upgrades. Our flight takes off on time and it seems like I hardly finished eating a little breakfast and doing some Spiritual Exercises (SE’s) and snooze-E’s and we’re in Dallas.

The Dallas airport loves us so much it just didn’t want to let us go quite so fast. So due to some mechanical problem or some such thing we have an extra long wait in Dallas. Not a problem though — we take advantage of sharing lunch, doing emails and finally our plane has arrived at the gate. While we board, John Morton is on his way flying from Los Angeles to Jacksonville by another route.

Our plane arrives safe and sound in Jacksonville and after a few tries at packing all the equipment into our Trailblazer, we are finally successful and head for our hotel. After check in, both Vincent and I are ready for a warm meal. Shortly after we place our order we are joined by Maryann Settembrino who has flown to Jacksonville to continue her training in learning balances. She will be with us in Miami also. So we catch up with each other’s lives throughout dinner. I look at my watch and see that it’s time for me to head off to the airport as John Morton’s plane is soon to arrive. All goes smoothly and through the miracle of cell phones John guides me to his location for the pick-up. It’s great to see him. We head to the hotel, grabbing some late night dinner, and for me another snack, and then it’s time to rest for all of us as tomorrow is a full day.

Day 2 — Jacksonville

Oooh, it was a short night but no time to think of anything but getting showered, dressed, a little espresso and off to the MSS Year 2 class to hear John share. Judy and Skip Jackson are waiting at the front door to drive John, Maryann and myself to the class location at Barbara Moulding’s home. Vincent has already left to get the sound recording set up. On entering the house it is like one big hug line as we say “hello” to the class members. Sherry Buelow, the class facilitator, is all smiles, as is everyone else, now that the Traveler is in their midst. John spends the next 2 1/2 hours gently, graciously and lovingly answering and asking a few of his own special questions, and he completes his time with the class with a meditation that transports us all. John’s chauffeurs, Rick and Beth Ard, are waiting outside to drive him back to the airport so that he can return to Los Angeles for a few days and then we’ll see him in Miami. Well, hey, they don’t call him Traveler for nothing!

Meanwhile we help Vincent pack up the equipment and head back to the hotel for a few rest hours and then we have MSIA Services starting late this afternoon. I take advantage of this special free time out in the sun to walk along the St. John’s River. This waterfront area has watched river boats, Indians, Civil War soldiers and battles travel and transpire on its banks. In the early part of the last century, Jacksonville had a fierce fire that destroyed most of the downtown area, and there were a number of plagues that devastated the population. Manatees play in the waters, and harmonicas and trumpets are being played as tourists and families are out enjoying the warmth of the day. After Services we have some dinner and then do some more emails and catch some bits of TV. Finally sleep captures me and I surrender.

Day 3 — Jacksonville
Today we have a full day of Services and then an open Loving Relationships Workshop in the evening. Doing Services is a wonderful way to catch up with our friends and share in the gratitude for the blessings we’re continually given by God. So many of the people coming in today for Services express their gratitude for John Morton’s visit to the MSS class. They are so appreciative for his willingness to be his human/Traveler self with them. These Services hours are spent in experiencing the healing, sharing, balancings, letting go and Letting God in partnership and guidance of the Traveler and Spirit. If you ever have a chance to receive an MSIA Service — an aura or polarity balance or innerphasing, go for it. Judy Jackson, the Jacksonville MSIA Rep seems to be everywhere doing everything but in the sprightliest way. Thank you, Judy, for taking care of us as lovingly and enthusiastically as you’ve done!

With time for just a wee break, Vincent and I rendezvous in the Board Room along with a number of our friends to participate in the Loving Relationships Workshop. We explore tools for maintaining loving relationships first and foremost with ourselves, and then with others who we are close to. Gratitude, unconditional love and forgiveness are some key points that we look at in some unique ways this time. The 2 1/2 hours whips by with laughter and tenderness and then, once again it’s time to eat and go back to our rooms for–you guessed it–more email, and in my case some On the Road reporting.

Well, I can tell from my drooping eyelids that I’m not long for my bed. ‘Til tomorrow…thanks for your Love and Light as we go along here.
