At Tel Megiddo near the Jezreel Valley

Day 4 PTS Tour of Israel

Can’t write too much as the PAT Training has started and I’m busy doing sound, plus internet is intermittent at our retreat center at Nof Ginosar kibbutz on the Sea of Galilee, plus I have a touch of traveler’s tummy, which is a mixed blessing here in Israel. The great thing about diarrhea is that you get to eat all the delicious but clogging foods that are normally constipating, in an effort to dam up the works. The great thing about Israel is cheesecake for breakfast. This auspicious fostering of one accord between the two opposite ends of the gastrointestinal tract is an exquisite co-mingling of earthly delights and horrors worthy of Hieronymus Bosch. And coincidentally our PAT Training is called One Accord.

I’m going to try to upload photos from our visit to an archaeological dig at Tel Megiddo near the Jezreel Valley. Tel Megiddo was in the middle of a trade route and the people there fought a lot. (Search engines are just a click away if you need more information.) There’s an underground walk during the visit, for another birth canal/Light-and-Dark experience. The girlfriend says she got a healing of her claustrophobia and agoraphobia. And my body is getting a lot better. Maybe the underground tunnel symbolism applies to the colon as well, or maybe it’s the cheesecake. Photos to come soon if the internet connection comes into one accord with my computer.
