Editor’s Note:  When asked in 1995 about fires in Australia, John-Roger and John Morton responded with the messages below (found in the John-Roger Library archives).  John Morton approved this info to be posted on the New Day Herald in response to the fires happening in Los Angeles in January 2025.

It’s fine to send the Light to the areas concerned. You might also send the tone into the atmosphere, for rain for the highest good. This would be done separate from a person’s personal “spiritual exercises time.” It could be done during the “pray for rain day,” and this is one way you could go about doing it:

Stand together, facing where you want the clouds to mass and have moisture in them for the “raining time.” Then silently chant your tone while your arms are outstretched toward the area, while your intention for doing this is kept in mind. Five to fifteen minutes should be ample each and every time it is done.

It can be done as a group or individually when you feel like doing it. And you can mix these, e.g., in groups, then singles, and then groups again — you know, mix or one way, all is fine.

It’s important to focus on the altitude of Spirit and allow for the highest good to be revealed. From Spirit, grace can be extended with a vision that whatever is being worked out with people and the land can be blessed under grace.

There are disturbances I see with people forgetting and not understanding the natural laws. It could be summed up this way; the consciousness of poverty is being reacted to with greed and disregard for the welfare of others and the land.

It would be helpful to see people being awakened and learning how to respect and harmonize with each other and the natural elements. Bless those who are doing this work at this time. We can all participate in this blessing for this area and wherever this applies on the planet.”
