Peace Awareness Labyrinth & Gardens, Prana, the home of the Traveler

MSIA Presidency Update – September 2026

“Prana is a place to which spiritual energies and Light are being poured forth in a concentrated way, and this will usually shift a person’s convergent point. This shift allows people a greater opportunity for spiritual awakening.  So, if spiritual growth and upliftment are your intention, then Prana presents a wonderful opportunity for that to occur.”
– John-Roger, DSS

We are sending Light to the PTS Travelers Tour to Turkey 2026 that begins on September 8.   May the seventy-three PTS travelers bring much Light and loving to the region.    When the tour concludes, John and Leigh will continue traveling on in Europe for events in Spain, France, and England through early October.

We have great news!  Many of you have responded magnificently to the call and The One Accord — A Seven-Day Peace Awareness Retreat is now confirmed and set for December 14 to 20 at the Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove, California.   If you want the full Northern California MSIA experience, you can begin with the Open Seminar with John Morton at Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco on December 12.

If you are in the Los Angeles area, there is a marvelous service opportunity to be a docent at Peace Awareness Garden & Labyrinth (also known as Prana – the home of the Traveler!).    Being a docent is a rewarding way of ministering to visitors who are experiencing the beauty and energy of the Prana property for the first time.  It’s a joy to see the wonderment on the visitors’ faces as they see the beauty of the property and feel the very special and sacred healing vibration imbued in it. You will learn how to share the interesting history of the Guasti Villa and how it became what it is today.  If you are interested in learning more, please email David Jaramillo at DJaramillo@msia.org.

Prana residents are often docents.   If you would like to experience the full immersion of living in the Traveler energy, you could consider being a resident at the home of the Traveler.   The Prana campus has beautifully maintained properties in the center of the city.  The food and meals have never been better.   There are deep opportunities for studying the teachings, and being of service, in a spiritual environment second to none.   You can contact Dawn White if you have any questions at dWhite@msia.org.

It’s been a while since we gave an update on the tea house in the Prana meditation garden.   As we expected, it has moved forward with bursts of activity followed by weeks of nothing going on. The contractors just applied the scratch coat for the exterior stucco work and interior drywall was just finished.  The interior woodwork is currently expected to begin within a few weeks. Some of the remaining wood is arriving from Germany which will allow the ceiling to be ready by mid to late October – hopefully earlier depending on when the sea freight arrives.   And please send Light to the reflecting pool.  The pool contractor we had planned to use has passed away and we are looking for a great contractor to replace him.

Meanwhile, the landscape design and preparation work are proceeding well.  It took two weeks to remove the bamboo on our southern property line.  Our civil engineer is reviewing the drainage system plans to ensure that the gardens don’t get flooded in heavy rain.   The landscape plan is looking good and will complement the tea house magnificently.

We look forward to sharing the completed tea house and gardens being ready for rollout in early 2027.

Thank you to all of you for all that you give in so many ways. As J-R would constantly remind us, “It is the loving that makes all this work.” The times are calling us all to stay in the loving!

God bless you,
Sherie, David, Vincent, Paul, Mark, and Jeffrey
