DAY 7 — Miami

What a treat! Today we are having the “Invitation to the Christ” workshop in Miami and John Morton is the facilitator. I love this workshop. Each time I’ve participated, assisted, or facilitated it has been a different experience. And yet, each time I’ve been touched by the sweetness and awesomeness of my experience of the Christ’s presence. Ron Tabin is our able TC for the whole weekend and he leads his merry band of women assistants (takes a great man to do this so adeptly) through our paces as assistants. Good going, Ron. Sue Tabin, Deborah Martinez, Elizabeth Baralt, Melba, Alicia, Cereta, MaryAnn Settembrino, and Rick Walsh (registration, , were a great team, along with Celia, Lesley, Vincent and yours truly. And our deep gratitude to Luz Jaramillo who was a gracious and good translator for all of the events.

The workshop is happening at the Embassy Suites near the airport and there’s lots happening in the hotel even as this workshop is taking place. Yet in our workshop room we are transported. I lean back and listen to John commenting as he reads different excerpts from the Bible…it is a meditation for me. We listen to J-R excerpts as well. John takes sharing and touches all of us as he’s answering the questions in each of us. The day is so full yet goes by so fast. To top off the day we go out for a staff dinner at a restaurant in Coral Gables. We laugh, tease, eat from each other’s plates and generally enjoy being together. The evening ends and it seems early to me –only 10:30pm — plenty of time to pack and do some email. Tomorrow will be really full.

DAY 8 — last day in Miami

Oh, the sound of my alarm this morning seems like a bugle and it’s rise and shine and get moving. Celia and I finish packing most of our things and then join the rest of the travel staff, John and Lesley and Vincent, for ordinations in the seminar room. Ministers from Florida and other points North and South are with us as we witness Spirit bringing forward the unique blessings that all of us ministers are blessed to share. Then Teri Wunderman, our MC for this Ministers and Initiates Brunch and Q&A, leads us through a calling in of the Light. There is much to eat, lots of catching up to do, many smiles and hugs as we visit from table to table. Ron Tabin keeps an eye on everything and Lesley shows her true colors as the best ever hotel/banquet liaison. Teri calls us together again, now that we’ve been well-fed, and does a special introduction for John Morton and the Q&A. As many times as I’ve listened to Question and Answer sessions I still am so grateful I get to be with the Traveler as the loving comes through in so many perfect ways.

At the end of the event people hang around helping us pack up or just schmoozing with each other in the sweet energy. We staff finally get grounded enough to finish our personal packing and then get the equipment packed as we do need to get onto planes this afternoon. All goes smoothly and Celia and I find ourselves all checked in and sitting in our seats ever so grateful for the undisturbed rest available on our nonstop flight back to Los Angeles. Vincent and Lesley are taking a few personal days of travel and we hear from them as they make their way on the road.

Our plane arrives safely, Celia heads off to catch her next flight and I go to meet Roger Wakefield at baggage claim. Thank you, Roger, for giving up your Sunday evening to gather me and the a/v equipment. Thank you all for keeping John and all of us in the Light and love of your spiritual hearts during our travels. More to come.
Blessings to you!
