After 20 hours of traveling from Los Angeles to Tel Aviv, we eagerly arrived at the airport in Tel Aviv where we met Benji Shavit and off we went to check in to the famous Hilton Hotel to get some much needed rest. John-Roger, DSS and his posse consisted of the following Spiritual Warriors: Jsu Garcia, Nat Sharratt, John Morton, LTY, Rick, Dodie, Kristina, Kyle Newman, Jaime King, Michael Hubbard, David Raynr and his awesome family, and Mark Harradine.

DAY 1
John-Roger and his posse drove north to Haifa and Akko in our trusted mini-bus and driver Shlomo a.k.a. Solomon. Akko was the town that was a strong hold for the crusaders over 700 years ago and this is where we met after 12 years, Amir Shavit, the oldest son of Benji. That evening we saw the Spirit Film Festival open with a reception and the Opening of “Peaceful Warrior” and met many people with the right stuff for Spirit Films. The Director of the Film Festival Harsita Om was very gracious to the Spiritual Warriors family. We noticed that our other Spirit-film friends were also at the festival: The Secret, Revolution, Celestine Prophecy and many other fine Spiritual films.

DAY 2
J-R and posse hit the road and we drove up to Mt. Tabor, the site of the Transfiguration, at high speeds in taxis and through the grace of God the main Priest opened the church of Transfiguration for us where I had flashbacks of J-R’s old vintage seminars that were recorded on the steps of the church. We then headed towards Benji’s farm, a beautiful dreamland facing Mt. Tabor. We then saw the Sea Of Galilee and stopped at the river Jordan for a sacred Baptism for the group.

Baptisms began as John-Roger observed and blessed us in our rented white robes. It was bitter sweet for me, after 12 years of not traveling to Israel. I was more calm and relaxed because I knew the land and just felt at home knowing that I was with J-R. I kept seeing the PAT IVs in my mind as we traveled to the different sites.

On the return to Tel Aviv we stopped for a quick look over Nazareth, as the sunset lit our faces with gold, standing on the mountain that overlooks Nazareth and thinking about the Christ. We prayed many times to bring ourselves into the Light.

The arrival to the festival was something out of this world. J-R and Posse attended the Tel Aviv world premiere of Spiritual Warriors and after 12 years, there we were. I couldn’t have planned it any better. The Lord has mysterious ways.

300 Spiritual Warrior, books were given away and many Insight brochures handed out.

DAY 3
Spiritual Warriors has a second showing, following a Q&A, which many Insight Graduates attended. David Raynr and I spoke to many affected audience participants. The two screenings brought over 700 people to watch Spiritual Warriors.

DAY 4
We journeyed to Jerusalem and on the way we stopped to see a cave that ‘some’ claim was the place where John the Baptist lived near, or visited.

Before we arrived to Jerusalem Benji invited us to his son’s grave, Ziv Shavit, who was killed in a traffic accident in India. Ziv meant Halo or Light. Ziv was a very good friend to John-Roger, John Morton, myself and many other people in the PAT IVs. He touched everyone he met. When he passed away on September 30, 2001 I felt the light of Israel had died and a little of my heart died too. He was like our son. John-Roger loved him and you can see that in the PAT IV videos. It was a special resting place Benji and Zehava had built for him; a garden amongst stone coffins.

That night we checked into the David Citadel Hotel and gave ourselves a free night, which incidentally led us to a great burger bar.

DAY 5
Benji always gives us a 7 number to end his departure times. For example we are to report to the bus at 8:37 or 8:07 or 8:27. It’s always a time that ends in 7. Off we went to our next excursion. We started the morning on Mount of Olives, overlooking the old city with the golden dome shining its light for all of us to see. It’s golden gate faced us; asking us to open it. We traveled to most of other the Gates; Jaffa Gate, Dung Gate, Zion Gate and Damascus Gate. We couldn’t miss the Garden of Gethsemane. We also, sat at the southern steps where Jesus stood as a Rabi and taught. It was a delight to look over and see J-R there, looking up at the southern wall. We saw the four quarters of Jerusalem: Christian, Armenian, Jewish and Muslim. The Church of the Holy Sepulcher could not be missed along with The Western Wall.

That night we were invited by Benji and his family to attend an evening of music and food at the Shavit’s home. All 16 people including the driver fit into Benji’s home comfortably. It was nice to be in the presence of Ziv’s energy again. His brothers Barak and Gilead came and Ronni, the youngest sister, performed along with her friend. There were operatic sounds of perfected music in the air that left everyone joyful and grateful to be there. I for sure am.

In closing, even though we have a couple a more days that will be spent in the new parts of Jerusalem, the tomb of Jesus, the Dead Sea and Masada, “Spiritual Warriors” journey in Israel comes to a sweet end. I can’t put into words the gratitude and thanks to you God, for bringing us to the Holy Land with our beloved John-Roger once again. I forever shall remember this trip and what you have given us and what we leave the Holy Land with. Thank you so very very much for keeping our beloved John-Roger alive and well. I also ask the Lord God to restore the Light and love to Israel and most of all, to Jerusalem. We ask that you God restore the Jerusalem inside us all.

Here are three short Spiritual Warriors journey in Israel moments that Nat posted on You Tube. The first one is from Tel Aviv, the second one is from Jerusalem, the third one is from Jerusalem, Masada and the Dead Sea.
