Gathering together to celebrate in the brilliance of our individual expression. This is what being at the “Sunday Afternoon at Peace Awareness Labyrinth & Gardens” gatherings means to me. These energized Sundays give us an opportunity to reconnect to our loving for ourselves and for others. On Sunday June 24th, our loving communion was hosted in brilliant harmony by our beloved Traveler John Morton and his long time friend Leigh Taylor-Young.

John started the festivities off by asking Gabriel Marvis to call in the light. Gabriel proceeded with the ease of a timeless Soul and with pureness of heart. It magnificently synced us all into the loving energy of the day.

The joyful Spirit was shifted through and around us by many expressing their beautiful Soul colors through song. These songsmiths were: Erik Lumiere, Jsu Garcia, Nat Sharratt, Milo Page, Allen Luzera, Erin Rourke, Clara Jaramillo, Tilly Key, Penelope Bright, and Karen & James Hassett.

Tamsin Rothschild delighted us all in spoken word, which was beautifully accompanied by Milo Page on the guitar and Ron Beimel on the recorder. To me, her poem “Being You” captured the true essence of what we are reminded of on these Sundays — the beauty of being who we truly are!

A lunch buffet of fresh green salad with deli sandwiches and mini quiches from the Urth Caffe were served. For dessert there were scrumptious ginger and macadamia nut cookies from our own talented guest pastry chef Stuart Penwarn, and homemade ice cream from our other talented guest chef Mark Lurie. Plus, as always, Urth Caffe Italian roasted coffee was available presented lovingly by beloved barista Sylvia Giussani creating specialty coffees.

On these Sundays I feel tranquil and content. I often experience angels hovering over us, joining in our worship and providing us with Light to warm our hearts and Souls, reassuring us that we are always loved.

Throughout the day visitors took tours and joined in on the fun and the food. Moment of Peace videos played in the Large Seminar Room allowing the old-timers and the new-comers to sit and enjoy MSIA’s teachings.

The gathering was brought to a close with John Morton stating that his request for these gatherings was a way for us to truly be acquainted with each other’s loving and to use that loving energy to welcome all who visit. He then centered into the loving of the day and gave his blessing.
People left the gathering overflowing with love. They all moved into the world confident that they could shine their brilliant bright Light everywhere, knowing that all is well.
