MSIA travel staff are currently in the Midwest, providing MSIA Services (Innerphasings, Polarity Balances & Aura Balances) as well as MSIA events. Staff member, Angel Gibson, provides this update from the trip:

DAY 4 – On to Kalamazoo

Today is our convergence day in Kalamazoo. Cleora and I get the morning off so we take advantage of having a natural rising time and leisurely get in some exercise, explore the Water Place Coffee Joint where the train comes literally right next to us as we sip our eye-openers. We savor breakfast at Food Dance which has this yummy organic foods and chicken sausage without onion/garlic/pork. Yeay! A rarity on the road. While we’re enjoying the cool (yup–Fall is really here as my frosty breath indicates) beauty of this day, Lesley and Vincent are finishing up Services in Chicago and John Morton and Roger Wakefield are about to depart Los Angeles to fly here.

As we finish up Services we find that John has arrived, Lesley and Vincent are close so we meet for dinner, sending Light to Roger who will join us on his itinerary later tonight. These “crew” nights are always fun for me as we catch up with each other in our huddle dinners and forge our Traveler’s team. We break for the evening knowing that tomorrow will be a full day with Services and two events on the program. As I finish emails, Roger lets me know he’s arrived safely and is settling in. With that nice-to-have-all-the- “chickens in the roost” feeling, I quickly catch up with Cleora who went ahead of me to dream land.

DAY 5 — Kalamazoo

Our twin alarm clocks sound “Reveille” and we’re off and running this morning. A quickie walk is our exercise regime. We have breakfast and then Lesley, Cleora and I start Services with Bruce Rosenfeld sitting in training as much as he can. Vincent and Roger meet up with Cay, Steve Dobbs and Bob Skylis to start setting up the seminar/workshop room for tonight’s booksigning and closed seminar. Meanwhile, John has received a special invitation to meet with a group of young men and women from the teen art camp created by Janet Graham called Doorways of Love and Forgiveness. The camp participants had regular wooden doors that they had decorated uniquely and artistically. This meeting was at the Portage District Library. Janet, Michael Kudlas, some of the camp supporters and library personnel were there with some of these young artists. In their sharings with John, each youth shared about how their door represented a portal to where they were going in life and their intentions. The doors were hung throughout the library making interesting stopping points. The young participants asked John how did he get into the work he was doing now. As John spoke, his story included telling them of his visits to Robben Island, describing the Peace pole ceremonies and prayers for the planet. He told them of his visit to Afghanistan and Pakistan. To cap his time with them, John closed with a blessing that included placing a Light column that anchors Light in the library as a place of knowledge and wisdom for those who come to partake of what is there for them,

With little time to refresh, John came to the seminar room to begin signing You Are the Blessings books. The 60 books that had been purchased for this event were quickly snapped up, due to an added blessing of a specially sponsored Buy 2, Get 1 offer for the evening. Magically John had signed all the books by seminar time. Kay Stolsonburg takes the stage as our friendly Mistress of Ceremonies welcoming the participants that have come from as far away as London and from slightly closer Tennessee and Connecticut, and from the greater Midwest area such as, St. Louis, Chicago, Fort Wayne, Milwaukee, Detroit. Kay reminds us that this is a closed seminar, which is a rare event these days, and as such everyone in the room is on at least their third Discourse or if completed Discourses, then active on Soul Awareness CD’s. Or, on their first or second Discourse AND have attended at least 3 taped or live MSIA seminars over the last two months. What all this means is that everyone in the room is more familiar with MSIA basic information. Kay then moves us right along to the main event that everyone is there for — having John Morton with us. John ascends to the stage and we have lift off as John opens up to take questions and answers. Quite a beautiful love-filled evening as Spirit and the Traveler placed a velvety love around us. At the end of the evening some of us go for a little dessert and walk-around downtown Kalamazoo, and then join the rest to move ever so peacefully to join the Traveler in our dreams.

DAY 6 — Kalamazoo

Roger, Cleora and I meet for breakfast this morning at our Fast Dance haven. Yum! More chicken sausage and a whole grain pancake! I’m such a happy camper. We dash back to check out the preparations in the workshop room, but no worries, Cay Velderman and her band of happy and excellent assistants have done an impeccable job. Almost all is in readiness. The participants come in, then Kay Stolsonburg, our MC for the workshop, launches our “Living Love ” cruise. She introduces John and we start to sail, and I do mean sail. This is one grace-filled, love and loving workshop. Images, sounds with J-R, John and beauty all around are sumptuous and oh, so healing today! We take a break at lunch and enjoy the sunshine and coolness and then it’s back for more love and, you guessed it! loving. Oooooh, someone has to do this (smile!). By the end of my day I’m sailing above my body. We laugh as all of us are included in the next door’s wedding celebrations that we can’t help but hear…we clap for a sharing at the same time the wedding celebrants are clapping for the new Mr. and Mrs…… Our gift to them is waves of Living Love. Tonight we’re all going to do dinner with friends and then a few more emails and time to let go and sail away on the good ship, Traveler.

DAY 7 — Kalamazoo

There’s more Living Love to be had today. Taking the stage John immediately shares with us an image from his contemplation that helps us to re-frame money concerns. From there it kept getting richer and richer as John took questions and answers and we listened and watched seminar excerpts on video — a virtual spiritual bathing time for us. At the end of the workshop we were so grateful to Cay, Bob Skylis and Lorraine Andrew for all they did to create this event happening. High as could be, we ran to eat a little lunch so that we could be at least a little grounded packing up the equipment and doing some errands that required some driving. It is always funny trying to concentrate on what goes into each equipment case when all we want to do is float around. We had loads of help from Bruce, Bob, Cay, Cheryl, Jill, Cora and others like James and Ezra who stayed to help coil cable, do inventory and move the cases to the cars with us. Once the cases were loaded onto the cars, some of us took advantage of a little open time to walk outside, grabbing a cup of coffee at the Watering Place. Then it was emails, a little staff dinner time together and then home to pack and catch some of the Angels/Red Sox game.

DAY 8 – Onward to the Twin Cities

Ooooh, that alarm clock is relentless this morning. I look out and it’s still dark outside. Cleora and I just move our bodies along into the shower and outside for some walk and breakfast. We’re joined by Roger and John as we get a good meal in before we hit the road caravanning with Vincent and Lesley to Chicago O’Hare airport. There we say goodbye as Lesley and Vincent head back to Los Angeles and we four, Roger, John, Cleora and I fly to Minneapolis. It’s a super quick flight and who meets us in baggage claim but Ezra. He’s a great help loading the equipment and soon with Ezra in tow we head to our hotel.

Welcoming us there with open arms and our room keys is Minnesota MSIA Rep, Kathy Kornblum. Leaving no stone unturned, Kathy has prepared our rooms with water, snacks and flowers–yum and thanks! Suddenly some of us feel like the proverbial plug has been pulled and all we want to do is go horizontal to lay the body down. So we do our best to unpack, download email and grab a tiny nap (some of us anyway) and then we head a few blocks away for a bite to Vincent’s for some dinner. (Vincent ate here last year and we got the official French thumbs-up for this food!) Kathy and Ezra join us–tonight’s conversation covers a wide spectrum from Saturday Night comic highlights to movies we know and love and of course, the economic e-ticket ride. Grateful again to be together but ready to call it a night, Cleora and I are happy to get back in our room and settle in for some extra sleep. Tomorrow is a full day and it’s time for rest. Thanks for your Light along the way. Please keep it coming!
