To have organized a group to see together the webcast with John Morton was incredible for me. One of the reasons I became PTS Rep was to have an active community again with events related to the Traveler.
Last year I had the opportunity to organize a webcast gathering, which was excellent. This time I wanted to make it bigger and to invite new persons to MSIA. So I managed to assemble us in the house where we realize our Ministers’ meetings, since it is a place with space to do this type of meeting and the lovely MSIA homeowner accepted the proposal to watch the webcast there.
I began to send out e-vites to the MSIA community and to my other friends, and I asked them to invite their friends. I encouraged them to speak from their own experiences, from their hearts what has been for them the Traveler in their lives.
You can’t imagine the number of people that came forward with their assistance and that they would come with a friend. On a regular basis I sent an email with the information about the webcast and I created an event on Facebook, for me Facebook is a great tool to spread a word about anything that you want to share with everybody. I even created a MSIA group on Facebook for people in Venezuela so I can share with them all the teachings of the Travelers and events, etc.
On the day of the webcast, I arrived early to prepare — I had MSIA intro materials for the newcomers, books from J-R and You are the Blessings books, tapes, etc for sale. We were 27 persons this day, of which 15 had never been to an MSIA event — it was awesome! I was very happy because my goal had been fulfilled with the support of the community here, and to be able to share the teachings of the Traveler for me it is one of the blessings of my service.
When the webcast began, we were gathered together happy, enjoying and listening to Leigh Taylor-Young beautiful as usual sharing and explaining about MSIA and the teachings of the Soul Transcendence, and she introduced John Morton in a a lovely way.
It was exciting when John talked about the people on the Internet that were watching the webcast and more exciting was when he mentioned Venezuela! I can’t explain to you what I felt in that moment and the people started to applaud. Definitely was great to have the opportunity to hold this webcast gathering with the MSIA community, and I’m starting to work on the next webcast on April 11.
