Here in the Los Angeles area we are often blessed with events featuring John Morton, DSS, Spiritual Director of MSIA, and Saturday, February 21st, was one of those days. It was a breezy afternoon when we arrived at the 2101 Building, in Santa Monica. The event was “Timeless Wisdoms 2,” a webcast, and Leigh Taylor-Young was our gracious hostess.

Just before we “went live” on the Internet, Leigh called the room forward into the Light. Moments later, when the world was watching (well, people in seven countries around the globe in addition to various communities within the United States), Leigh greeted the online participants, and called us all into the Light.

Leigh gave a brief explanation of the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness (MSIA), and its teachings. As a way of welcoming everyone, she quoted MSIA’s Spiritual Director John Morton, as well as the Founder of MSIA, John-Roger, DSS, regarding remaining neutral, and seeing what works. And then she introduced John Morton.

In their easy, spontaneous style, both Leigh and John Morton selected readings from Timeless Wisdoms, Volume 1 and Timeless Wisdoms, Volume 2, and had audience members read and comment on them. John also took questions from the Internet audience, as well as from those who were attending in the Ballroom. Subjects ranged from how to learn gradualness and how to have better relationships, to how to more effectively remember one’s dreams.

John touched on many subjects in between, including forgiveness, natural knowing, exampleship, and not letting fear rule. He emphasized that there is always room for more loving, since loving is the real final frontier.

Through it all, the emphasis was on practical spiritual approaches to the situations we experience every day. John said that each of us is an instrument of Spirit, and then he placed a blessing (John is known as The Blessings Man, having authored two books on the subject, The Blessings Already Are, and You Are the Blessings).

Leigh closed the webcast with information regarding MSIA’s websites and other offerings.

You can watch the archive online of the webcast at www.msia.org/archives.

And, we invite you to our next webcast with John Morton, An Easter Eve Seminar, on Saturday, April 11th at 1:00PM pacific daylight time, at www.msia.org/live and at 2101 Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica, CA.
