An Easter Eve Webcast with John Morton — Living Love Divine

Imagine a beautiful piece of music—something by Mozart, or sounds from Nature. The sound opens and catches your ear, something inside starts to move and awaken. You relax, feel lifted, refreshed, completely at ease. Sometimes you laugh, sometimes you watch, sometimes you just BE. Moving inside, you’re in another place, a place more real than anything, more real than words can tell. That’s as close as I can come to describing the Easter Eve webcast with John Morton on Saturday evening, April 15th, 2006.

John shared the warmth and beauty of the Traveler and Spirit like a moving melody, with a note about the word “gospel” and how it means good news… a bar about what it means to GO FOR IT in life and with Spirit… a movement of prayer communion from Spirit, touching to everyone in the room, and out to those listening on the Internet and beyond.

Nick Segal hosted the webcast, dressed in his finest Easter jacket and looking quite dandy. Nat Sharratt provided entertainment for the evening, treating us to one of the many great songs on his debut CD. The song was “Free,” and all about loving—just perfect for Easter Eve.

The energy of divine loving was so real, so palpably present. It moved through the evening, as John shared with us and took questions from the Internet and people in the audience. No matter what the question, the answers always came back to love, love, loving—school, finances, family, relationships, conditions in the world—John kept demonstrating love, and kept revealing the secret of Soul Transcendence: to look for the good, to have that willingness, to be open.

As the evening came to a close, John invited each person to be open to the opportunity to make a choice that leads to a transformed way of living, a way of living that really makes a difference in our lives, with others, and in the world.

The Easter Eve webcast was the final event of a day that included a beautiful workshop focused on Spiritual Exercises—it was the final movement in a symphony of a day, in perfect preparation to celebrate Easter and rising up to the Christ within. If you were not able to attend the webcast online or live on Saturday, please give yourself a special gift and listen to the archive on the MSIA website at www.msia.org/live/archives.php. And wherever you are, whatever you do, many blessings of connecting with that energy of God and Christ and loving inside, to partake in whatever movement of spiritual inner awareness Spirit has for you now.

Here are a couple of quotes from John-Roger and John Morton that help point the way—God bless us all.

“If you would learn the secret of Soul Transcendence, look only for the good, for the Divine in people and things, and all the rest leave to God.”
—John-Roger

“Now consider yourself in communion with the Lord, that you can say whatever you like and listen to the words the Lord speaks. Perhaps you will hear the Lord say,
