A Wonderful Evening with John Morton at MSIA’s Internet Q&A in March

Article imageJohn Morton joined us on March 18th for MSIA’s monthly Q&A at 2101 Wilshire in Santa Monica and live worldwide on the Internet. Master of Ceremonies Wayne Pepper opened the evening festivities, introducing his family, and explaining a little about the Internet broadcast. Wayne called in the Light, and we chanted the Ani-Hu (an ancient Sanskrit chant invoking God and empathy).

Wayne then introduced Rob Whitesides-Woo, a magical musician, who played one of his recent guitar compositions, Cloud Warrior, for which he received a standing ovation. How wonderful to have Rob playing music for us live!

Wayne then introduced John Morton. John appeared to be visibly moved, and acknowledged he felt vulnerable, soft, and tender, and that he was experiencing all of that deeply. He acknowledged Rob Woo for the beautiful music, and thanked Wayne for his introduction. John commented that earlier in the day, Dr. Paul Kaye (also known as Mr. Momentum) had spent some time interviewing Leigh Taylor-Young as one of the “elders” of MSIA. He asked LTY to stand up as an example of what “elders” in MSIA look like (radiant and young), and thanked her for the “darshan”.

John stated that one aspect moving him this evening was a vision that was both powerful and beautiful. Sharing about his e-mails on Peace, he acknowledged that these are powerful times, with national and international news and more taking place for all of us on the planet. He said there is something entirely magnificent about being in this world, and that clearly this is a time when what can be shaken will be shaken. He stated that he was aware of people crying out for solutions and understanding. John then described his vision and at this point it grew very quiet in the room.

He told us he was very aware of a beautiful presence, and he knew he was not just making it up, which did his heart good. It’s important to get along, to love one another. And he offered that the head of MSIA is Jesus the Christ, but that this is not news, and has been announced all along. That legacy is that we are to love one another. Regardless of what takes place outwardly, we do love one another, we are brothers and sisters, children of a loving God. John said, “I came to share that. I stand in a consciousness of Peace toward all. We hold that as a reality, we live that. There is a day coming when there will no longer be hurting.”

The first question came from the Internet, from Uzbekistan. The person writing in asked for hope for an end to the Iraqi crisis, and hope for saving lives. John acknowledged the message as a prayer for Light and Love.

Also from the Internet, from Bogot
