John Morton & Paul Kaye Share Love, Light & Laughs at a Booksigning Event in Sydney, Australia

Article imageOn March 8th, MSIA Australia had our first event of the Australian MSIA Conference 2004! We gathered at the Gleebooks Bookstore in Glebe, a suburb just west of the centre of Sydney, to listen to John Morton and Paul Kaye speak about their books. John talked about The Blessings Already Are and Paul talked about Momentum, Letting Love Lead which he co-authored with John-Roger. They also spoke about John-Roger’s and Pauli Sanderson’s new book When Are You Coming Home?.

The upstairs room of the bookstore was a pleasant and rather rustic looking place filled with hundreds of interesting books. It had a fairly large area for us to gather, and a fine assortment of new comers to MSIA’s teachings as well as many MSIA regulars turned up to share in the fun.

Thanks go to Michael Campbell from Gleebooks for his help and hospitality and lots of gratitude to the organizer of the event, our own Roberta Grant, who took much care and dedication in this service — and also presented the speakers wonderfully.

John Morton started off the evening by speaking briefly about the books, during which time more and more peace and Light filled the room. He then gave a short yet profound blessing as only he can — so uplifting! Paul Kaye, with his wonderful smile and humor, then shared a little about the books and gave some great yet delightfully witty tips about staying in the present moment and about forgiveness. Again during this time the energy became more sacred and attuned to Spirit .

John Morton then turned it over to questions and, with loving humor and great caring, shared about various subjects from letting go of what we don’t need, to being patient and neutral, to accepting what we cannot change. Another question led to some wonderful ideas about decisions we can make to stay in the Loving with ourselves and with others. When the movie “The Passion” was brought up, John shared some of his own realizations about the Christ and added a couple of great stories about John-Roger than he said he’d never shared before. A special treat for all the MSIA old timers especially!

It was a really wonderful event to kick off MSIA’s Australia tour. And, to me, covered just about everything we needed to know to feel the Loving of God and have a wonderful joyful life! If we could live what was shared tonight we would indeed be blessed!

By the conclusion of the talk the room was peacefully vibrating in the Holy Golden Light of God (Anyhow that’s how I saw it! ) Roberta then presented Paul and John with bunches of roses which were almost as beautiful as they are! Another sign of the blessings present. Lots of fun and laughter filled the room as people mingled, chatted and bought books to be signed.

Several of the newcomers asked for further information on MSIA and were very impressed and moved by the way John shared. One young man, a newcomer to MSIA, said he had been through every religion and group there is but had not found the joy within, but tonight he was starting to feel that. How wonderful! People left with smiles on their faces — which is always a lovely thing to see.

God bless you John, Paul and the ever loving MSIA travel staff — Vincent Dupont, Angel Gibson and Cleora Daily. And, welcome again down under! We love ya!
