I’m reporting from Athens, Greece, the home of the Olympics and Zeus. It has been beautiful and very nostalgic in a lot of ways. J-R and John Morton, with staff and friends, spend time on buses and trains to get to the venues. A lot of ticket trading and late nights watching these athletes get their gold medals.
I experienced something profound today while walking with J-R and the guys to get on a bus to ride to the track and field event. A man bumped into me and then bounced off me to J-R. Then he kept walking with what looked like a stick. When I looked closer I saw that it was a blind man trying to find his way to the Traveler. Wow. I had a realization — how would I feel to run into the Traveler, blind? What are the odds that, if I was this blind man, I would run into my Traveler in the streets at that corner at that second, this lifetime? Did he see J-R before or did he see J-R after he bumped into him? I don’t know what that man felt, but I still feel like I’m a blind man, bumping into J-R and trying to see.
Love,
Jsu/Zeus
