On Tuesday evening at the “Exploring Spirit In Everyday Life” webcast class with John Morton, there seemed to be an interesting “time warp” going on at the 2101 Building in Santa Monica. My personal perception was that either time was standing still and we were all rushing through space, OR we were all sitting serenely outside of time and space, and time was rushing on as usual. It made for some intriguing moments!

Our lovely Alexandra Roberts took the Emcee position this evening, introducing herself, as well as PTS (Peace Theological Seminary and College of Philosophy) and MSIA (Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness), the organizations that sponsor the Webcasts. She called us forward into the Light, and led us in chanting the Ani-Hu.

Next Alexandra introduced Melinda Brown who sang a beautiful song that she wrote for John-Roger. Her voice was lovely and the song was very moving.

The stalwart NOW Productions crew aired a video clip of John-Roger, founder of MSIA and PTS, who spoke about Spiritual Exercises, a form of meditating with focus and purpose, and a basic principle in learning Soul Transcendence.

Alexandra then introduced John Morton, Spiritual Director of MSIA, and he began his talk by introducing the subject of small miracles. He also spoke about the power of Choice, Loving, and Forgiveness. He made a special point about the True Superpowers: Shifting Perspective, and Attitudinal Changes.

As a class we examined four areas of our lives: Work, Relationships, Money and Health, and we were offered three Tools for improving these areas:
Tool No. 1) Working with the Light for greater focus, illumination and clarity;
Tool No. 2) The Creative Imagination. John referenced a book by John Roger entitled, Walking With the Lord, and described this tool as a way of bridging ourselves into Higher Consciousness.
And Tool No. 3) Loving – by this, he said, meaning loving ourselves, loving every moment, and every experience including the positive and the negative, loving it all equally in order to be Free.

We all participated in a partner exercise (1-on-1), discussing one of the four areas most in need of attention for each of us. And after we watched another video clip from John-Roger, John Morton moved on to the Questions and Answers portion of the evening.

From Mexico (via the Internet) a person asked about some difficulty they were having at work. John spoke about a couple of the basic teachings of MSIA, that out of God comes all things, and that God loves all of its creation.

A young man in the Ballroom asked about holding himself back, and John responded in gentle, kind words about honoring oneself. Another person spoke about having difficulty breathing, and John reminded us all to acknowledge and claim the life that we are living. From Bogot
