Day 1

After the Midsummer Night’s Dream in Woodstock, we drove east to the Hamptons to prepare for the Spiritual Warriors screenings at the Bay St Theatre in Sag Harbor on Tuesday and Friday, July 15th and 18th.

When we arrived at the Lazar/Bank’s home we said “goodbye” to our great bus driver Frank. Before Frank left, he told J-R that he loves it when his costumers feel comfortable enough with him that they sleep during the ride (we were meditating of course). At the Door was Lily, a Toy Schnauzer, that runs to me every time I see her. The Lazar/Banks home is called Lilyville. Lilyville was our home for the stay during the Hamptons. We handed out flyers in all the Hamptons. We even had an ad in the local Dan’s Magazine, free for all to read about SW’s screenings.

Day 2

Screening day. We began to meet at the theatre the same people we handed flyers to the day before. Lazar/Banks had been working the streets a couple of weeks before. Howard got us the theatre while Lily and Heide got their nails done. (Joke.) Phil Danza and I tested the film and found a problem we had been having in Europe and I have been praying to God/J-R for the answer. Awesome.

We had about 100 people attend. Mostly elders. I noticed that with these elders they came not to just watch a movie. They came to find answers and dig for deeper meaning in their lives. One lady was Jewish and her boyfriend is Catholic. We received a lot of praise. Zoe and friends were selling Spiritual Warriors DVDs, giving away J-R’s Spiritual Warrior book. Rick and I did the Q & A’s.

Day 3

We took time for rest and relaxation. While we enjoyed our days of working out, painting, eating, swimming, tennis and playing with little dogs, we always had flyers ready to give out.

Day 4

More driving around and handing flyers out and enjoying what the Hamptons have to offer.

Day 5

Last day for screening. We got back to work. Again, elders arrived and I was asked if we had subtitles for the hard of hearing. We did. That’s what J-R and I added — SDH for those that need it on the DVD. Great Q & A and J-R was once again in theatre watching the film. Man, I’m lucky!!!!!!!

We had at the screening some MSIA’ers that joined us. We drove to Lilyville after the show and we did some good old fashioned Baptisms. We then headed out to Montauk which is the tip of Long Island. There sits a lighthouse that haunts the surroundings. We headed back for our final goodbye dinner. We returned and began to prepare for Miami.

Reflecting on my life and how lucky I am to have come to the greatest time of my life. I feel lucky. Thank you Dr. John-Roger for making my dreams come true. Our dream is now.
