Day 12 – Living in Grace at Jamberoo

Another beautiful day in heaven called Jamberoo. Spiritual Exercises (SE’s) seem particularly lovely and peaceful and then we’re at lunch. Lunch is short for us as there are baptisms happening during lunchtime. Many of us head out to the pool and hold the Light while some of our fellow ministers gamely jump into the pool and wait for the baptizees to descend into the cool water. We ask for the Light to be with us and watch as each newly baptized being comes out smiling and radiant. Then it’s back to the training room for most of us.

I head off to do my last afternoon of roving. Now the sky has changed to cloudy with a little sun peeking through every once in awhile making absolutely gorgeous shadings and colorings in the fields and hills. Gratitude for having these moments just bursts out of me. As I go to enter the training room I am greeted by some of the lovely peahens who are standing right in front of the door and one on the railing next to the door. A John-Roger meditation is playing and it looks like they are entranced by J-R’s voice. Dinner comes shortly thereafter and we laugh a lot, looking forward to what this evening will bring.

Ah, you’ll need to take Living In Grace to know why this evening is so special. The Traveler comes to be with us and do even more sharing. We laugh, are touched, we cheer and come into the sacredness in the course of a few hours, and then we make haste to finish our chores and go to bed. Tomorrow is really special and we want to be ready. Sweet dreams!

Day 13 — On to Sydney

Last night on the way home from the training we saw a wombat and a little family of wallabies (little kangaroos). This morning a beautiful red fox was out in the field and pheasant type birds were running around on our front lawn. Yet more Wild Kingdom moments!

The beauty and majesty of this last day at Living in Grace must be experienced as no words that I have can capture it. The Traveler, John Morton, leads us simply and nobly. I am blessed once again to be present and receive. I pray to have the fullness of this experience and still be grounded enough to drive me, John and Cleora back to Sydney. My prayers are answered. At the end of the training with much love, hugs and appreciation we leave for our ride to Sydney, having packed up late last night and early this morning. Vincent, Lesley, David and Richard stay behind to pack up some personal things and the sound equipment. I’m getting quite comfortable now driving on the left hand side of the road, though occasionally if I go on automatic I hit the windshield wipers instead of the blinkers. Happily Lily Cubrillo and Lizzie McGlynn are leading us back to Sydney. We stop for lunch in Kiama and ground a little bit more with a tasty lunch, breathing in the wonderful ocean air. Then we’re on our way. Heavy rains keep me focused for periods of driving and I’m happy to get us safe and soundly to our destination. What an amazing week this has been–just flew by.

Everyone is on their own this evening. A few of us go to dinner, but we’re a little on the tired side. Some of us just order room service and relax in front of the TV. Tomorrow starts our Sydney events so we are grateful for a little time-out time. Thanks for your Light along the way. Please keep it coming!
