An MSIA Minister and Initiate shares a heartfelt inspiration, 1000 Seeds for Peace, as a way for each of us to strengthen our inner relationship with Spirit, and with peace, in a way that joins us together in a common focus.
A wise friend communicated to me recently over email, giving me a nudge towards “doing what can be done to stand forth with peace and loving in today’s world.” This inspired me to share an idea that has been with me for several weeks now. It came to me in the middle of the night, with such vigor that I got up, turned on the light, and wrote what I heard: “1000 Seeds For Peace.”
Simply said, seeding is the planting of what you want to receive. My experience is that seeding is a simple, powerful, and effective way to access that place where Spirit and human creativity co-exist. It is a way to make Intention manifest, internally as well as externally. Seeding is given up to the highest good — therefore, seeding in itself is an act of peace, an act of releasing, and an act of holding a positive intention while affirming that, “Thy will, not my will, be done.”
In keeping with the instructions of seeding, the exact wording of the seed is between the one who is seeding and God. This is also true for the monetary amount of the seed. The intention is that each one of the 1000 Seeds be what each one’s vision of peace is in their own heart, present and available, between that person and God.
1000 Seeds for Peace is an opportunity to communicate in a simple, practical, powerful way that we choose peace, for the highest good, in God’s way. It also represents an anchor of commitment to choosing peace over conflict, to adhering to the highest good, and to holding the Light in neutrality and loving regardless of what winds are blowing internally or externally.
When we seed for peace we are saying, “Thank you Lord, it is already done.”
