Everyday is a beautiful day at the home of The Traveler. Today is especially wonderful as a group of MSIA Ministers gather for united prayer communion. This special event is being presented by the HeartReach Foundation for those in need of prayer communion at this time, and for us as ministers to give and exercise the opportunity to be of service, of being present as a vehicle of Light for the special blessing of Prayer Communion being given through Spirit.
Joy, peace and the harmony of Spirit fill the air in a silent and sacred way. I can feel the presence making it’s way through the large seminar room as those of us who are to give Prayer Communion arrive early for a briefing by the HeartReach Volunteers and to view a video clip of John Morton instructing us on Prayer Communion. While we are waiting to start we listen to the angelic sound of Marjorie Eaton playing her harp, setting the tone for the service.
As time draws near Patti Rayner, Director of HeartReach, gathers us together to call in the Light as we come into a silence. After the Light invocation, Patti welcomes everyone and then hands the microphone to David Donner one of HeartReach’s ministering angels. David gives us the logistics of how things are going to take place and presents the video clip with John Morton.
After the video clip we are given instructions on the various ways we can be of service in the room. So, some of us are giving Prayer Communion, some are receiving, and some are acting as Light batteries around the room. As we begin, I notice immediately how the energy steps up in volume with our intentions of loving, giving and receiving. It matters not who is in what position. We are all receiving, we are all giving, and we are all holding the light as batteries, being present with what Spirit has for all of us.
As we gently move about from person to person, listening to the Light coming through Marjorie and her harp, I feel a heavenly sacredness, peace, and oneness sweep the room. We take whatever time is necessary with each person, and each is different according to Spirit’s will. I am truly blessed to be here today.
As we complete, another HeartReach angel, Annette St John, calls us forward with spirit in sealing the blessings of Prayer Communion and sending Light and blessings to all the names we put on our individual prayer list. For this and more we are grateful and thankful for God’s presence in our lives. Baruch Bashan
