Spiritual Spa Day with John Morton at Peace Awareness Labyrinth and Gardens July 2013

I realized this last Saturday, at the Spiritual Spa day, that at the end of every webcast I have attended, I say with earnest joy and uplift “That was a good one!” This event was no excepting to that.

The sunny day began with a gentle, joyful buzz. Everyone seemed to be present in the moment, enjoying conversations. The announcement was made that we were going to begin and quite quickly the rooms filled up as people took their seats and gave their attention to the presenter. After starting the engines with introductions and calling in the Light by Maria Jose Maranon, we were treated to the soul-full poems of Beth Hinman, which got us in motion with an essence of sacredness.

For about 1 1/2 hours we enjoyed the presents of Spirit and received endless blessings with John Morton, and Alicia Landa translating.

From the beginning John exemplified using every detail for growth and upliftment, adding playfulness, especially in the dynamics of speaker and translator. He established the clear intention that we are here to go home to God, and that the Traveler’s job is to do just that.

Once fully settled, our Traveler touched upon many “mis” and “dis” words we humans tend to experience: misunderstanding, miscommunication, disappointment, disturbance, distraction, etcetera. This lead into the topic of the value of clear intentions – particularly the intention of going home to God – and keeping on track. This seemed to be the running theme of the morning, and reappeared in many angles throughout John’s sharing and in response to individual’s question.

When we engage in the “mis” and “dis” words, the Traveler is there to reveal to us God consciousness and it is up to us to keep ourselves straight. It can be a process of many “re” words: realign, repeat, rebirth, renew, and so on. And when we are working the re’s, keeping in mind our purpose, claiming it. Claim that we are the strength of God, that who we are is loving. He/She wins who endures to the end.

In wrapping up John extended an invitation to those attending in person to partake of the manna: brunch. In a quite manner, we made our way to the dining room and served ourselves a beautiful, colorful, manna meal. As the eating began and consciousness became more grounded, conversations grew lively and joyful. The sun was shining and there was a sense of expansion, light and loving that nurtured us all.

Thank you to everyone that made the day possible, including our beloved Traveler, John Morton.
