MSIA travel staff are currently in South America, providing MSIA Services (Innerphasings, Polarity Balances & Aura Balances) as well as MSIA events in various locations. Staff member, Angel Gibson, provides this update:

DAY 9 – Bogota and Living Love

One of the blessings of being a travel staff person is getting to facilitate workshops when we’re on the road. While we’re in Bogota I have the privilege and honor of facilitating the Living Love workshop with the Bogota MSIA community. This workshop allows us to experience, attune to, tap into, claim, manifest and express many ways of Living Love in our lives. From the very beginning it seems that everyone of the participants and assistants are present and open to experience this blessing of Living Love. There is joy, gratitude, richness, deep silence, a palpable embrace of velvety loving. John Marin is our translator and does a beautiful job of becoming my twin, expressing flowingly in Spanish the information, excerpts and demonstrations that are all part of the workshop. At one point I come on stage after a visual presentation of Living Love imagery. I look at the participants whose eyes mirror the loving that has poured forth. I gasp with the beauty that goes so deep. It is as if I’m looking into God’s eyes. I can’t even talk for some moments. Our day is full of this blessing of Living Love and we leave this evening each to spend time with ourselves in a quiet way. Celia and I choose to walk around the old square near our hotel and appreciate the fresh air and vibrancy of the locals enjoying Saturday night around us. We catch a little espresso and cookie in the cafe near the hotel, and then head back to our hotel. There’s a little time for email and reviewing tomorrow’s script. The Traveler, John Morton, is now on his way to be with us in the morning. Light to him as he flies towards us.

DAY 10 – Bogota-More Living Love and the Traveler

Oooh, that alarm clock seems like it’s going off in the middle of the night! Is it really 7am already? Yes, indeed, and without further ado it’s into the shower, dress and grab some quick breakfast before jumping into Alberto Arango’s car. Lo and behold, just as we’re finishing breakfast, who should pull up with John Marin and his wife, Virginia, but John Morton. John looks relaxed after his overnight flight to Bogota. With lots of hugs all around we welcome him into our midst, catch him up on the schedule for the day’s activities, and leave him into the trusty care of John Marin, Virginia and our little bundle of loving effectiveness and efficiency, Ani Pacheco. Alberto scoops the rest of us into his car and we drive to the Cosmos for the morning’s start of the workshop. Happily we begin with spiritual exercises, allowing each of us to fill our tanks for the day. John soon catches up to us and receives a warm, standing ovation from the Bogota/Colombia MSIA community. They are wildly happy to have him here. John wastes no time to partaking in the sharing of the Spirit and answering questions. He helps ground the practical keys from the Living Love workshop.

After John’s Question and Answer session our workshop is done and we hungrily go to lunch which seems to be over in seconds, though it’s really 2 hours. Back in the seminar room we quickly re-set for the official Bogota MSIA Q&A for Discourse Subscribers. Olga Elena continues on as the team captain and the whole team quickly brings the room into readiness. The doors open and Maria Claudia Martin welcomes the Discourse subscribers and introduces Mercedes de Varon to share her heartfelt poetry. Then we are serenaded with a beautiful rendition of the Pachabel Canon by Helen and Sandra Ortiz on the violin and piano. The two John’s (John Morton and John Marin) take the stage again to a warm, standing ovation and the Q&A is underway. For a full two hours John Morton continues to love and respond to those questions brought to him, and we all open to the learning available.

After the Q&A, we staff return to the hotel and then journey together out of the hotel on foot to the Nusquen plaza where we eat at Amar Ti–an inviting Italian restaurant with the best-tasting vegetarian pizza among other things. We are joined this evening by the Marins, the Arangos and the Lipnizskys. There is lots of laughter and teasing from one end of the table to another. At the beginning of the dinner I introduced myself to our waiter, who welcomed me and our group to Bogota. He certainly took good care of us–who were hungry campers–all evening. At last it is “pumpkin time” and our eyes seem to be closing on us, so we give lots of hugs and head back to our hotel in time to set our alarms, and at least in our room, go to sleep. Tomorrow we have more Q&A–this time for Ministers and Initiates–and then we fly to Buenos Aires.

DAY 11 – Bogota and then onto Buenos Aires

This morning we join our fellow Bogota and Colombian MSIA ministers for over an hour of ordinations after which we fellowship with breakfast. The participants for this event have increased 50% and so we are doing all we can to make room for the new comers. By the time John Morton goes up to the stage we are well over 100 participants which now include MSIA initiates too. Maria Claudia Guitierrez guides us through the program as the MC, and introduces John who leads us to stepping forward in the strength of the loving and grace that is present when two or more come together in Christ’s name.

Well, we have to take the beauty and loving and go forward now into the world, ministering to all as we pack up the equipment and ourselves, grab a quick lunch back at Amar Ti and then be driven to the airport once again by our caring chauffeurs–John Marin, Alberto and Pablo. We are so lucky and grateful to have them as friends and fellow ministers on this path to God, as well as traversing the Bogota roads to the airport. Bogota definitely seems to be getting Lighter in many ways. Once we’ve checked in we have only a little time before boarding the plane. We sit around the waiting area, some of us chatting, some of us watching a Tiger Woods video, and some doing a bit of shopping. Soon it’s time to board the plane and settle in for our overnight flight to Buenos Aires. Ciao, Bogota, until next year! Thanks to each one of our loving brothers and sisters in Bogota who loved us through and through.

DAY 12 — If it’s Tuesday, it must be Buenos Aires–this week

OK, I admit it–I love Buenos Aires. There is something about the huge boulevards, the outdoor cafes, the flowering lavender jacaranda trees, and the fabulous dress boutiques that makes me think of so many lovely cities in Europe–a little combo of Paris, Rome and Madrid with a huge obelisk as we enter the city. This is the home of the “parrilla” — little or big restaurants where grilled meats/poultry/fish and provolone can be had. This city was founded by Pedro Mendoza who as he sniffed the air around him proclaimed it was “Good Air” and hence the name was from then on “Buenos Aires”.

Elsa Valenzuela, Cate Kirby, Roberto and Julio meet us, help us navigate through customs with our sound equipment and load us up into cars. Lana Barreira and Nora Valenzuela will be joining us later today. Soon we are at our hotel, grabbing a bite of breakfast and then crashing for some horizontal time, before heading out into the city. I’m actually too excited to sleep just yet. While my fellow staff are getting out of their bodies for a bit, I take off on foot to visit the Recoleta-a wonderful part of town that has many boutiques, cafes and restaurants and also the cemetery where supposedly Evita is buried. The temperature is a perfect combination of coolness and sunshine and I put my feet up, sit under a huge tree and have a cafecita, lomita (steak) and french fries while watching a young girl and old man do the tango, and this huge dog (that looks like a small horse) walk around unleashed. I feel like I’m in the middle of a Fellini movie. On the way home I take advantage of this day being my only shopping opportunity and buy a few gifts to bring home. By the time I get back to our hotel, my fellow staffers have now taken off on their own explorations. I’m ready for a short nap so that I can be fresh for tonight’s dinner with our dear friends, Claudia Segura and Elsa at Sotto Voce. Around 8pm Claudia meets us in the lobby. She is as beautiful and captivating as she is loving. Under her wing we are brought to Sotto Voce and the fun begins. We have lots to catch up on and taste. The food is wonderful–no onion or garlic which is a tremendous treat for starters–the conversation is lively and we’re now primed for the next few days of Services and events. We love being spoiled and taken care of this way. And the day has caught up with us. It is time to really lay our bodies down and release ourselves to some restorative sleep. Tomorrow is a full day of Services to be capped by ordinations and a workshop. Keep the Light coming!
