Dear Reader,
Would it be all right if I waited to tell you about the Initiates meeting until the CD comes out? It would be so much easier for me because the last meeting of the Conference of the Rest of your Life was all over the map. To sum it up, I would have to say that this meeting was a great demonstration of what, can only be called, multi-dimensional awareness.
I tried to take notes but now I can’t decipher my own writing. What’s a boy to do? The meeting started with Michael Hayes telling us about the Travelers’ trip to Spain, France, Great Britain and Denmark in Western Europe for screenings of the movie “Spiritual Warriors.” Only it turns out that J-R and the gang really were doing the work of spiritual warriors as they traveled around to different and beautiful locations ostensibly to screen the movie (which by the way is now available as a DVD here).
The casual observer might have thought that they were visiting movie theaters and tourist hot spots. Michael told us what was going on metaphysically in these places and how the Light energy was being put to use for the highest good. There is a lot of history in Europe and a lot of clean up work to be done spiritually.
Following Michael’s talk we saw a video of the European trip and it took on an entirely different meaning for us after his explanation. By the way the video has been posted on You Tube here if you want to check it out.
Next it was J-R’s turn to talk to us and you really are going to have to get the CD for this one. I was gone. I try to stay present when J-R is alive with the Spirit but I confess I often just lose it. I remember that he spoke about the action or inaction of being an initiate and left no doubt about which he prefers. At that point we listened and sang along to Clare Morton’s rendition of the song “Down to the River to Pray”. Clare sings it as well as anyone and the allusion to doing spiritual exercises seemed clear to me.
Then J-R began a Q&A session that was one of the Traveler’s classics. He answered a few questions before bringing John Morton on stage to share his Light also. Between the two of them, and the insightful observations of Michael Hayes, the people who asked questions found out more about themselves than they could have possibly imagined. WOW! I think that all of us who were there thought that the meeting was fine!
You initiates who were not able to make it to the Conference of the Rest of Your Life, please allow me to suggest that you start making plans now for next year’s Conference. You don’t want to miss this act.
