Living the Vision

Article imageNear the end of October, 2000, Robin Graham stepped down from the leadership position at IIWP. The IIWP board of directors appointed David Rodgers to take on the role of Managing Director of IIWP. Here are a few words from both Robin and David on the transition.

Robin Graham

When I chose to lead IIWP, my picture was that I would learn how to do what I do professionally (manage business) in a peaceful manner. What I found out in the process is that I needed to learn how to manage myself peacefully. I am now devoted to that learning in an even deeper way than before and as a part of that process I have stepped down from my leadership position at IIWP. I continue to be actively engaged in the CUP process. Good things are happening and my love and support goes to David Rodgers (the new managing director) and the IIWP staff in the continuance in the study of peace.

I thank Robin Graham for the leadership and support he has provided and is continuing to provide for IIWP. It is from his efforts and those of Ted Drake and Katherine Hall as leaders of IIWP, that we can continue to carry on this work. If you haven’t touched into IIWP for a while, I encourage you to look again. A lot has been going on and there seems to be much more to come. Read some of the articles here about what we’re doing, and see what touches your heart and then give us a call or write us a note so we can connect with you directly. We would love to tell you more about any or all of our projects. It is an exciting time; one of expansion and one of living our mission to identify and present the processes that lead to peace. The invitations are for you to join us in this work.

One of our primary focuses is increasing the communication about what IIWP is doing and accomplishing. We are active in a number of different areas. In this issue we will be highlighting a little from Windermere Ranch and the One Accord Workshops Series. In other issues we will begin to touch on other areas including the Study of Peace, Peace Presentations and Community Peace Projects.
