Meeting the Challenges by Putting God First

How Can I Remember God Loves Me?

Question: How Can I Remember God Loves Me?

Answer: Remembering God loves you is an option. You can vote — “God loves me” or “God doesn’t love me.” Consider that your vote makes a difference because you are a creator. As a co-creator with God, you’re putting out orders and preferences. You can choose, “I prefer God loves me” or “I prefer God doesn’t love me.” So what’s your vote?

Even if your vote isn’t for God loving you, God’s big enough to love you regardless of your vote. So if you’re making a negative vote for yourself in this moment, choose to stop that. You can choose God’s love in each and every moment. You can say to yourself, “Today, I’m going to love myself no matter what. I’m going to love myself as God loves me.”

If you have doubts, you can still do whatever it takes to choose God’s love. If you’re on your hands and knees because that’s what it takes to love yourself as God loves you, then get down on your hands and knees. You may think, “Oh, I wouldn’t do that. That’s too lowly.” Be careful about whatever you would put as a condition on God’s loving you. Keep your agenda about God’s love wide open. You can go into the negativity, but is that what you want to do? Is that how you choose to vote?

I suggest you do what it takes to be one with God now. That’s choosing a consciousness and an awareness of how God would do you as you. Choose to remember God loves you just as you are, always in all ways.

John-Roger has said, “You are loved just as you are right now. Get that really clear in your heart. There is nothing you have to do differently to be loved by God. Who you are is enough in itself. This is the positive inner reality, and it’s the truth about you.” (Timeless Wisdoms, Vol. One, p. 3)

  1. Thank you beloved for this rememberance. I had that experience just yesterday. I had simply wanted recognition of being of loving service to a ex abuser, who needed medical help for 3 days and nites, and I did it with the awareness of his being God. At that exact moment the shower turned absolutely cold, and I laughed out loud, and thanked my sweet Lord, for showing me he knew and he cared. Sounds silly I know. But it meant a whole lot to me. To know God loved me and cared that I represented him in my actions regardless of whom I was serving, as it was I that this person called for help, and I did not hesitate. He had spinal surgery, and he is now up and about after 2 months. When God loves me, I have a overflow of love to offer anyone that calls on me, even at 3AM, even thou this person had caused me suffering, I had plenty of love and light to rise above the past, and serve the human being regardless of any so called past. You taught me love lifts anything, and I have been able to live it, and you are always right, love lifts anything.

  2. I have gotten stuck in comparing myself to others. Now, I’m having an experience of remembering to keep loving all of me as God does, rather than all the sweet parts and not ALL of me. Please give me reminders.
