Days 16 – 19 of the MSIA Travel Staff Trip to the Northeast, 2007

Article image MSIA travel staff are currently on the East Coast, providing MSIA Services (Innerphasings, Polarity Balances & Aura Balances) as well as MSIA events. Staff member, Angel Gibson, provides this update from the trip:
DAY 16 – Philadelphia to Washington

Today starts early for me as I return one of our rental cars to Hertz in downtown Philadelphia. It’s a short trip from the hotel to Hertz and then I walk back to the hotel through the colonial part of Philadelphia. I pay my respects to the Liberty Bell, walk over some old cobblestone streets and get to our hotel with a good appetite for breakfast with Cleora. We enjoy our last breakfast overlooking a sparkling river. Soon it’s time to pack up our Expedition and along with Vincent and Lesley we take off for Washington, D.C. As we drive along, the influences of the South start appearing. Graceful, colonial homes are on hillsides as we cross the Susquehanna River. Soon we’re going through the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel and then we’re in Silver Spring looking for our hotel. We don’t have time to dally as Services are starting for us at 3pm, so we quickly grab our
Services equipment and drive a short mile down the road to the home of Myrtle Sutphin and Tim Fiocchi. A large lunch buffet is ready for us and Tim, Myrtle, Alex Beau and Alice Hill welcome us warmly. We happily eat lunch and chat away just beginning to catch up with our DC friends and then Services are underway. By the end of the day we are happy to get to our rooms and have a quiet evening of email and a movie. I love this town and am glad to be back here.

DAY 17 – Washington, D.C.

Today we do Services at Myrtle and Tim’s. We have a delightful time catching-up with old friends. Jan Rovecamp and Chip have made the most tasty lunch of fresh turkey and salad. Alex Beau has made sure we have nothing to lack for in the munchies domain. We are happy campers. Towards the end of the afternoon the skies open up and there is a hurricane like wind and rain storm for a few minutes that finally settles into a drizzling rain. The temperature is a bit cooler. I take time for a little snack before heading over to the Woodside United Methodist church to facilitate the Open Evening of Meditation workshop. Vincent comes over too as a supporter for me that evening. The room fills up with many of my old MSIA DC family, and there are a few newcomers who we rapidly embrace. The evening unfolds in a cozy fashion as the heart of the evening is listening to different meditations that J-R leads. What a great way to end our day doing SE’s and listening to J-R. Sue Dolan, Renee Panagos, and Alex Beau are the key assistants for the evening, and Margrett Gary is a lovely greeter too. I sail off afterwards to my hotel happy to do a few emails and sleep. Tomorrow is a full day too.

DAY 18 – Washington, DC

We have Services today in two places: Myrtle and Tim’s, and Renee’s home. Cleora, Vincent and Lesley will do a few hours and then head off to the airport to fly back to LA. I do a whole day of Services and then am going to stay with family for the weekend. I’m at Renee’s and her home is lovely. Margrett Gary assists Renee with hostessing for the day, and Cher provides a salmon lunch with all the trimmings. I’m completely spoiled with all the attention. Renee caps off the day by driving me over to my next accommodation for the weekend. Thank you, Renee and Margrett for your graciousness. Just a few more Services tomorrow to finish our trip!

DAY 19 – Washington, DC

Today is the official last day of our Northeast trip. I do several Services at Myrtle and Tim’s. Alex is there and I enjoy a few extra moments of MSIA family time with these three. Special thanks to Myrtle, Tim and Alex for doing a superb job of coordinating the Services and the workshop and all the details/logistics of these. They also had wonderful help. I have one more stop after the weekend to do an initiation on the way back to LA on Monday and then I’ll be back preparing for our Southwest trip which will begin the following week.

Seeing friends and hearing all the appreciation and gratitude for the Services and the events with the Traveler makes our hearts sing as we travel through the cities. Thank you each for your presence, assistance, and the Light you have sent to the Traveler and our merry staff.
